ya I had several black trucks over the years, never again, I just don't have it in me anymore to make it look even half way decent

I appreciate the referral! But I'm not 4-6k off of MSRP lol. I sell some stuff for 2k off though!

I had a left over Platinum Tundra after last allocation that I added to the list on first page. We were also able to secure a TRD Pro Tundra for a forum member. Thanks everyone for the business!!

For NC and VA peeps looking for hybrids in platinum trim, checkout Hall Toyota in Elizabeth City. They have several @ $4k+ off MSRP. I got my plat from these folks, standup dealership.

Edmark Toyota has a 2023 Platty listed for $45xx off msrp and a 2023 Limited listed for $41XX off msrp on their site today. I can't verify this it is just what the site says. You know how dealers are so who knows lol

They are a mark up dealer unless the vehicle gets there and is on ground. Once it hits ground they are discounting it so they don't risk losing allocations in future.

Paid msrp for my 23 platinum hybrid and when I traded it for a 1794 hybrid with TRD OR package I paid msrp with nothing added to that either. It can be had. 2 different dealerships in Massachusetts too. Not a fluke.

Of course it can be had. The odds of that scenario are insanely low though.

Sheehy Toyota in Fredericksburg Va has four 23 Tundras on the lot. 2 are hybrid. No markup. Was just there looking at a 1794.

I'm not a fan of the cream interior but I actually don't hate it with the red or white exterior.

Big thank to another forum member that left a deposit for a PRO Tundra. If you guys are looking, it's still extremely tight with production so let me know what you are looking for. We were informed yesterday that they are building less than 200 total for the next allocation (spread over 135 stores) for Central Atlantic Toyota.

What is an allocation in time? Monthly, Quarterly, etc?

Wish it could be had with the brown interior. Also finding a 1794 with the advanced package w/ tow mirrors is proving elusive

The tow mirrors are nearly impossible to find in the upper trim levels in the states. You can almost count on one hand the number of them being built right now.

So would it be safe to say that I'd be waiting a while on your allocation list? You're just up the road from us in Northern VA and it sounds like if I want this configuration I'm going to need to place a deposit....

Yep, you're not far at all. What I would do is get you on our list and eventually secure one in the color combo you are looking for. Once we get that, I would request the change to Toyota to add tow mirrors. The chances are still very minimal of that happening, but probably still way higher than waiting for one to just get allocated with them already on it.

The tow mirrors are more available than you think. I searched inventory for quite a few dealers in NJ, NY, and NC, and they have some (Gateway in NJ is one, who I contacted via their web page.) Very few long beds with tow mirrors though and the Tundras I found like this were black, not a color I can live with, having owned a black Jeep years ago. I spoke with my local dealer and he told me in his region (PA, in the Central Atlantic region,) they are not available even though the Toyota build page has them as an option for some trims when using my local zip code. He suggested going out of state to get what I want but I shouldn’t have to drive over four hours for this. And Gateway Toyota said I must visit their showroom before negotiating a deal and the dealer markups are in the thousands of dollars! No remote dealing until delivery like some other dealers. The sales manager at Gateway sent me an email asking if he can help find a Tundra and I replied, telling him unless we can deal remotely until delivery and he sells at MSRP or lower I’ll move on to somebody else. It’s bizarre how some commonly desired options like tow mirrors are available for some trims/colors and/or regions but not others. Why would my dealer say tow mirrors are not available when the Toyota build page says they are? I’ve been waiting almost a year for something with tow mirrors and a long bed in a Platinum or 1794 and my dealer just now tells me he can’t get them? I found a region map, link below. Toyota and their dealers are really starting to disappoint me……

To give you an idea of how available they are...this is from Toyota's actual system...in a 3000 miles radius (pretty much all of US). There are 82 total 1794 Tundras with tow mirrors. That's all colors and combinations of them including gas and hybrid. Most of those 82 aren't even produced yet.
