Red is power for your switch panel. It’s an Add-A-Fuse that’s going into my IGN fuse.

Everything is included in the box!

So ing fuse. So when car starts i get power to switches. Meaning i won't need light on right ,i can then just run hood mount light right?. So lol I assume I'll be able to locate that easily.. I took that fuse cover off one time an its looked intimidating to me. Reason why I ask watched a bunch of video installs an some went to light fuse an I don't want headlights on.

You’d want to make sure the switch only turns on when you have your keys on start or ignition. If you place it somewhere else for example your interior lights or your headlights, it’ll drain your battery as those can be turned on with or without your key in the ignition.

Fuse box shouldn’t be too intimidating. If you look under the cover and match it with the fuse box itself, it’s a 1:1 diagram. It may be in acronyms, but you can always google search it.

With the install though, unfortunately, I think the back light for the switch will always be on - which I myself don’t mind. I know some would be annoyed.

Yeah, either IGN or INJ. I used INJ because my YotaLeds took my IGN slot.

I think ign will give you the switched you want. I imagine you can splice both in.

So there is an On/Off button for the panel, but the wire only powers on the panel and not off. There's supposed to be a dimmer too, which... I don't think there is a wire coming out of the panel for it.

The USB fuse would also work for a switched power source. I currently use that one for a trigger controller. I'm reading through this post because I have the old version of the trigger controller and its not working as well. thinking about trying something else.

check the attached picture, on mine I can see the sensor at one of those red dots (I think the right one) try covering it up with your finger and seeing if it dimms

Omg. So talked to my installer just how. he said " you can just hook little red line to battery an it has a auto shut-off at 11.5 volts when battery gets that low .." will my truck even start with only 11.5 volt in battery? So I said no thanks to that. What is your opinion on this ???

Yeah, if you make sure you only add-a-fuse to fuses that require you to turn the key then you're set.

No, I wouldn't do that. That line is for the accessory switch power - hence why it needs to go into a fuse that will only be on when you have your key ON. Only the larger gauge Red/Black should be going to your battery.

Your installer is going to f*** sh** up.

Yeah, you’d want to use some RTV sealant.
