Mine is only 64" wide, but it has a smaller body so it handles like a 72" width. Super stable and bat outta hell fast. :burnrubber:

Yea there's definitely lots of weak points, though I'd imagine most machines are that way if you push them hard (whether the can am is worse or better, no idea). But that was part of the merit of getting a cheaper used one, originally I planned to get the highest end brand new model but I knew either way I'd end up modifying it eventually. I've ridden in my friends XPT and sat in the new Turbo Polaris models, and what pushed us for the canned ham was the ergonomics suited us better.

What PLC said, stock limiter is at 85mph and tuned now it'll hit 90 no sweat. 0-60 is probably ~4.0s.

I can't speak for the ergonomics in anything but my machine, but I prefer an upright position. Even mine lays back more than I like. I wind up leaning forward to sit up straight. I know I'm the rarity on that as most want a more reclined position.

Hey that's why there's different machines! I'm the total opposite, the RZR and Talon I both hate how it feels like you're sitting on a box and propped straight up in the air. But to each their own! Competition and options are good, and ultimately more people supporting offroading and friends to ride with is good!

Speaking of seating positions.....the best mod i've done to my Rzr, without a doubt has been seats!

I could use some knowledge. I've not stored a vehicle before, and I really want my RS1 to survive the winter with as few issues as possible. I have no garage, but might be able to squeeze it into my storage unit.

So, what I need are tips, tricks, and info on winter storage to keep my Quadzilla in top shape for the less used seasons.
    1. What would you recommend if I can fit it in my storage unit?
    2. What would you recommend if it has to suffer out in the elements?

Throw a tarp on it, top off the gas, put a battery tender or remove the battery+tender. Don't know if I'd do anything else...

Battery tender and add some good gasoline additive to the full tank. Or buy tracks for it and use it during the Wyoming winter.:oldglory:

Pffft. Tracks are cheating. Just run it on the tires and have fun! :burnrubber: I am not at all opposed to running it in the snow, but my schedule would mean that it would sit for a minimum of 7 days at a time. :( I've not dealt with anything like this since I was a kid, so I wanted to make sure I got good info from other owners.

My dad's UTVs and tractors have covered parking and otherwise he doesn't do anything to them, and they usually move once or twice a month. He's in a similar area where it's winter most of the year.

Personally i moved away from that cold shit :D

I moved away from it for a winter, but it was depressing not seeing snow in a year.

Well, I learned something about my RS1 last Tuesday. The brakes are amazing, and if you're dumb (like me) you can do bad things.

I wound up kicking it over on its side because I was too aggressive with the brakes, but the kicker is that it was in a straight line! Loose dirt, heavy foot on the brakes, and a malfunction in my brain for a split second all contributed to my first test of the roll cage. Cracked the front right fender a bit, some abrasions of plastic, and broke the quarter turn latch that holds the right rear fender on. Going to have to get an estimate for mandatory repairs, but not so concerned with cosmetics. Scrapes and bumps are just a fact of life with these things.
