So I picked my grandfather's old 91 Polaris. I put new spark plug and battery, it started with the electric starter by some miracle. But it wouldn't go. So had to take off half the body to get the clutch cover off. When I popped it off they had dirt dobber mound clogging it up. So after that it ran for about an hour before it seized and had to get the tundra to pull it back.
Took everything apart again and decided that it needed a new belt because it was cracked and stretched out. Put new belt on and it moves but not well.
So next step is to get it running better. I think an engine mount is broken because when I give it gas the whole engine and clutch moves ALOT.
Also it has a 2000lb winch that still works fine.
Anyway it's great to have a project again.
