Just read about the reversal of what constitutes a redesign of the stabilizing brace.

I for one like this because I have been afraid to take mine to any range just in the off chance of some person just saying I did it. Looks like I will be able to get some more pew pew time with this gun and not have to worry about accidently committing a felony.

I wouldn't call it a reversal. Nor would I put my freedom in the hands of ATF interpretation.

Fact is braces on pistols are being used extensively to "skirt" proper methods of "manufacturing" a SBR.

Some people are always going to try and skirt laws just the way it is. But it still makes me feel better if I take it to the range and someone tries saying I was shouldering it when I wasn't. Not that the registration for a SBR is hard to get anyways more comes down to money and registration since you already went through the background check to get the gun. Shooting a vector kriss is super fun and now I can do it without being paranoid :spy: atleast for the next few years till it gets changed back.

If only they could just remove SBR's from NFA and just be done worrying about it!

Suppressor and SBR/SBS laws are just dumb.

Now if the wait time for a stamp for a NFA item was cut to lets say immediate, then I would be better with it. But to have to wait 6 months to a year or longer just get a canceled tax stamp is well stupid. I cant think of any other right that is regulated like the 2nd is.

If a person can pass a NCIS check in seconds then it should be good enough for NFA items.

With that being said my SWR warlock is a pretty cool conversation piece and the forms I have on my desk for a SBR are needing to be sent off but I still think its damn stupid.

Mobsters, hell! The ATFE are the mobsters. It's all about the money, the power, the control. The idea of the NFA had nothing to do with mobsters.
