Have any of you guys replaced or extended your front bumpstops when installing the 6112's?

Mine came shipped with some thick washers, I placed them under factory bump stops. I think it was two per side.

No problem man, hope it helps. I have the same opinion today - 6112s are the perfect budget friendly option for a lift and suspension upgrade, without getting too wild. In my opinion spacers are a cosmetic only lift, not a real upgrade.

What Drew ke the guy before me had his handle covered. I've always just called the number on the website and gotten a quick response.

The assembled version is a real bonus for easy install. That's what had me look at Boss 4x4 in the first place.

MistrRoboto- let me get your opinion (others welcomed too!) - I asked this on the wheels/tires thread but maybe I should have asked it on the 6112 thread instead. Wondering what your experiences have been with stock CM + 6112 @1.9"+ stock wheels with either 285/60/20 or 275/60/20 tires.

    From the other post:
    • I've decided on Bilstein 6112's set at 1.9" setting for the front, at 5110 for the rear. That should still give me a ~0.475" rake which is good- I tow on some occasions and I don't want the bro-lean if I can avoid it.
    • I'm going to keep stock Platinum rims. Don't want to cut/bend any metal. Can remove mudflaps.
    • Per the sticky at the front of the tire/wheel thread, 285/60/20 should work with this lift, but it seems like some folks have had to cut to make these fit.
    • If I can't go with the 285/60/20, I'll go with the 275/60/20's that the sticky says should fit with no lift.
    • 275/60/20's appear to be significantly cheaper than the 285/60's so I may decide on that anyway

Interested in seeing your results. I'm doing the exact same thing sans the 5100's as soon as my tires come in.

They don't stick out at all, and are about exactly flush. They are the stock TRD Offroad wheels, so +60 offset. An aftermarket wheel at +25 or less would be sticking out some for sure.

Ooh man! I read through the entire thread.
Great information in here. Thanks everyone for chiming in.

    I got some questions
What would one step up from the 6110\5160 combo be?
Looking to do a little O.R. and wondering if the next step up would be within my budget.

Currently have 3/1 level kit and I think it rides terrible.
Getting rid of it and it’s time for a solid upgrade.

    Tia
