My 2nd Gen Daytime Running Lights just stopped working. I tested and no power to the lights. I've been trying for 3 days to find the right fuse without any luck. I need help locating the fuse(s) or fixing the problem.

Still waiting on all pars for first oil change on 18’ tundra-should be good to go this weekend

Was talking to a friend/ mechanic this weekend and he told me to make sure that truck does not have “ break- in” oil that’s supposed to stay in truck for specified time- before changing???? Never seen anyone on here mention this - just wanted to make sure??

Also I installed 2” level lift a little while ago with a differential drop - since installed I read a post on here somewhere that some are saying the diff-drop could cause “oiling” issues and harm differential because of “ tilt” of the diff ??? - should I remove diff- drop In- till I go with a larger lift 3”-4”

    Sorry for long post/questions.

evenin/mornin guys. A 2008 Tundra 5.7 with 206K miles. I have an exhaust leak on the two flanges just before the muffler. I replaced them with an OEM gasket a while back and now, it has started leaking again. Is this a common issue for that type of gasket? If so, is there a better after market option?

@LOTSOFTOYS i have no power or ground going to the driver side map light....fuse is good....dome and passenger map light work....the socket came loose so I took the overhead console apart pushed the socket back into place, and had to mess with the socket where it grabs the bulb for it to hold it right it worked fine then I reinstalled the console and no I can’t get the bulb to light up at all. I’ve tried other bulbs to. Testing light shows no power or ground.

@Roman I'm looking to replace these rubber bushings that rest on either side of the front sway bar.

I think I may have found the part number but was hoping you can confirm and see if you stock them.

That is the old part number for them. They have been superceded to 90540-A0001. I don't have any in stock, but can order some within a day or two.

Replaced front pads and rotors, still have an ABS light and traction light on in the dash cluster. I didnt blled them just pushed the pistons in with clamps. Do I need a code reader or can I reset with a jumper to the OBD port?
    Thanks!

UPDATE! Cleared my maintenance message and went to bed the pads and rotors, oddly enough the lights are gone and pedal feels great!

Hi I know this is a tundra forum but I was hoping maybe you could help me with a little problem I‘m having with my land cruiser prado 2010. I (and the rest of the world apparently) can‘t seem to find the entertainment interface ECU (I know its supposed to be located somewhere near the glovebox or something like that). Thanks for your time

Well, went to the dealership last week. Guess what was wrong with my memory seats?
The switch was unplugged. Pretty expensive fix for an unplugged switch. So if anyone has an issue with their memory seats.
Pull the door panel and make sure the switch is plugged in........

I have a 2014 Tundra Crewmax and yesterday my daughter rolled the back passenger window down just fine but when it was time to roll it up the window wouldn't go up. I used the master control and it wouldn't go up either. I gave it a few then tried again and the window moved a little and stopped. I waited again and it did the same. I waited a third time and then the window went up all the way. Does this sound like a motor issue or some other component with the window?

    Thanks in advance!

My 2000 tundra with 4.7 is only getting 13mpg. I figured out that my truck has aftermarket headers and true dual exhaust. The cats and o2 sensors were deleted. Is there anyway to get my mpg back

Lotsoftoys I was hoping you could help me out. I have a 2001 trundra sr5 4x4 v8 and it’s been running great, got off work last Friday drove home parked it. Saturday got in it and it turned over but didn’t start. No check engine lite. So I pulled the ground then put back on it started went 1/4 mile and it died. Still no check engine lite. Pulled ground again and back on it started drove 10 miles to get lumber left running and it died. This time I had to get pulled home. I check the pump it works 60 psi. Change maps, Cks sensor, c open relay, and start relay still no start. I jumpered ground to coil side of c open relay and I get fuel to the rail but still no start. I sparyed starting fluid in carb. and it tries to starts. I put a obd scanner on it and it says it cannot communicate with the with the control module. All fuses are good. I’m 60 miles from dealer and 1 mechanic in town who’s on vacation for a week and I got to get to work. You got any ideas
    Thanks
    Johnnie

Lotsoftoys, first of all thank you for all your feedback. I have a 2008 Platinum Sequoia with 138k, 5.7 4x4. Never had any issues, newer battery, at start up I hear a noise like if the starter keeps going when I turn the key. It was random but now it seems to happen almost every time I start the truck. It's my wife's truck so I am not sure how long she would keep that key going at start ups. I tried doing a simple click and helped some but it now feels like it keeps going. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What size tires are you running? 13 isn't too far off what most of us are getting. It's probably going to be hard to get back to normal without cat's and 02's.

    Howdy all!
2007 5.7L Limited. Most gauges not working.
ABS light on, brake light on, airbag light on. No gauges(speedo, odo, tach, oil, temp.) except, voltmeter and fuel. Odometer not counting and no limp mode. No temperature by clock. The Cluster has lights and the gauges sometimes work on random days. The next day I turn the key and it will have the issue and gauges are down. Once in a while I can put it in park and it will start working again. However, I can go down the road and all of a sudden it will quit again. The last few days its been down every day except once today. Once I went over the railroad tracks the gauges went down. Seems like a short to me?
I checked the fuses, they are fine. I also disconnected the battery to reset computer and it didn't help., Also it really hasn't rained on it or anything, I live in a really dry climate. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Start checking ground connections, especially the connections between the engine and the frame, and around the ECU. If you're unsure about the connection, clean and re-tighten just in case.

2019 Crewmax with 3200 miles-- Most mornings my truck has a tough time starting. A lot different than my 2017 in that, I turn the key and it sounds and feels like an extra second goes by before it starts. As if there is a gap between all of the cylinders firing, and it finally turning over. Plainly, instead of hearing the 1-8 "da da da etc.," there's a noticeable lack of noise for about a second, like it is struggling to get fuel in and turn over. Any ideas?

@LOTSOFTOYS btw, I live at 5k feet elevation. I only put in 87 ethanol free or 89 occasionally.
