I have a problem with the entune. New phone also have tried known working phones with out any success. One day it was working with Bluetooth and iTunes. Never worked with any hands free calling. I’ll post a video on what’s happening I’ve tried a soft reset, disconnecting batteries and hard reset with iPhone and all the same problem occurs with no way around this. Looks like I cannot post a 15 second video. Doesn’t look like anyone can help me out on this forum.

Basically all it’s doing no matter what setting on entune if you try to connect with Bluetooth it indicates that microphone is not connected which doesn’t allow no functions at all.

New 2019 Toyota tundra couple weeks of driving the truck and entune is already broken considering I can not connect to the device with Bluetooth or use
Pair with hands free. I know last week I had the phone playing with Bluetooth now it doesn’t show any devices due to microphone not connected.

Have u went to the dealer? It is very possible the I phone isn't compatible with what you are trying to accomplish. I phones typically dont see eye to eye with toyotas.

Yes just trying to find out if this is a common issue with others or not I assume this is what the forums are for. It’s sort of tough getting into the dealer while working to jobs...

    I have a question for @LOTSOFTOYS :

I have a 2010 v6 5sp auto with 64000 miles. It does not have a trans cooler behind the grill. No tow package.

I monitor the vehicle with obd fusion, the transmission temp slowly climbs to 185 or so over a twenty mile drive. If I have to accelerate quickly, climb a hill or accelerate quickly from stop the torque converter temp jumps up as high as 230 and the pan temp goes up to 210.

Both temps slowly go down while driving.

While driving on the freeway the temps stay around 185.

My question: is this normal given the vehicle specs? If not what can be done?

    Thank you
    Kevin

I have a ? Regarding the plastic drain tool Toyota provides with its oil filters. I noticed after a one time use, it was scratched up a bit on the sides where it clips into the housing. So the question is; if a tiny plastic shaving was to get caught between the spring loaded plate that comes back down on the housing itself, could it cause a leak? Is there very much pressure in there? I’ll be buying a higher quality tool for draining in the future. Thanks

You need special tools to press them on and off.

I'm confused which plastic piece you are referring to? The cup or the little clear nipple toyot gives u with filters?

What kind of noise? And CV axles arent connected to the t case?

May be the wrong place to ask but here it goes. My buddy had the Toyota VIP remote start installed on his 2018 4runner. After remote starting it will cut off when he opens the doors. Is this normal? Toyota says it is programmed like that for liability reasons. This seems off to me but what do I know. TIA.

The clear nipple that is provided with the oil filter. Here’s a pic of the area that gets scuffed.

really? that's so stupid. I've got a Compustar system and can open my doors, lock 'em again, put my key in and forgot to get something and pull my key out, lock the doors and it'll still run...for 15 minutes. don't think i'd like it much if it shut off the second i opened the door.

thanks for the answer. the car has been imported and is titled in my state. I imported another truck a few years ago and had no issue trading it in once it was converted to miles.

I have a Viper system on mine and opening the doors doesn't kill the engine. That's only on the factory version.
