Sure are they the same type of plug? Like iridium to iridium? Resistor to resistor?

Hoping I'm not stepping on toes.

I've read that it can be swapped, but it's prohibitively expensive. Like over $1000 in parts.

I actually have no clue Steve? If it is possible, what about finding a wrecked truck with it and get the tank? Cheaper?

You can also over-ride it. Check the left side where the parking gear is. There should be a small square ...push the pin with a key or screw driver.
Remember, it's in park for a reason...brake lights aren't obviously working.

Check that brake light switch, I'm pretty darn sure that I've read that it's part of the system that releases the gear change lever so you can take it out of Park. Jace may know more on that.

UPDATE....I was installing Pilot LED 3157 bulbs into the brake lights. After troubleshooting today, found out that the fuse only blew if the light was in upside down. So with trial and error, I was able to fix!! Hard to see in the daylight, but they work!!

You'd think that there'd be some suggestions or cautionary words of wisdom on the packaging. Many know that LEDs have a polarity, but the lamp sockets for incandescents don't usually. Then again, maybe some do, I've not had my taillamps out yet.

On a 2015 SR5 how do you remove the headlight bulb? I did figure out you have to access it from inside the wheel well, but I cant get the bulb out.

On mine, it was easiest to remove the entire plastic housing. Then you remove the rubber ring, finally there is a metal clip holding the bulb in. I watched the Headlight Revolution video on YouTube to see removal.

I agree. I know that most only work with polarity the right way, but not blowing fuses....

This^^^if u can't access it, most Toyotas it's easier to just remove the headlight assembly. Then replace the bulb

I thought of that, but didnt see how that came out. The person that designed the head light assy should be put away
