I have the 4.6L. I looked at the Chilton repair manual and made my best guess as to which one to order based on position of the valve relative to the engine.

Update, I cleared the codes 2 days ago and the code hasn't come back on. I'm hoping that the new pump cleared out any gunk that was stuck in the valve. I'm crossing my fingers that I don't need to replace that valve but I'll go ahead and keep the new one when it comes in just in case. "Hope for the best, plan for the worst."

Also, forgot to upload these earlier, this is the design flaw that has given us all so much grief. You can tell which one is the redesign to prevent water ingress.

Cool^ we don't see many 4.6l around here... your valves are seperate? So one on each valve cover like the earlier 4.7?

Yes, these were helpful that I found. Is 4.6L not that common?

    Hey Lotsoftoys,

Is it possible (difficult) to change out the front CK turn signal sockets for standard 3157 sockets? The CK sockets are total garbage IMOGEN

    Thanks!

Um, the 3157ck socket that is standard on almost all Toyota vehicles...? No offense but, you don't seem very knowledgeable. I've asked you 3 questions now and you've known ZERO answers. I've had better luck with Google. Thanks anyway.

dude GTFO. You've asked specifically aftermarket questions every time referring to your truck. On top of that, he blatantly told you if if wasn't familiar with the technology you were asking about. Here is someone doing something completely out of the kindness of their heart and you say shit like this? just leave. Take your all your lighting questions and shove them up your ass.

OK, 2015 Tundra crew max sr5 4x4, 5.7. The traction control light is on steady. Its the one at the top of the cluster on the right side, solid orange with the image of the truck and the sliding skid marks, Best way for me to describe it. No other lights and the truck runs fine, well too damn fine, I mean it screams like a banshee out of hell, good god this thing has come alive in ways I never knew possible. 4wd works fine, in and out, no problem. I have appointment at the dealer Friday morning. Any ideas? will keep you updated on what they tell me. I called them and they said ya you really should bring it in, is it drive able? Yup I will probably make the 80 mile drive in record time LOL....

Ok guys as mentioned above @LOTSOFTOYS is a certified Toyota technician. He is trained to troubleshoot and fix stock Toyota parts. He isn't going to know the aftermarket items unless he has done them on his personal vehicle. He is a very hard working and very knowledgeable technician and friend.

You also need to understand that it is going to be very difficult for him to diagnose your exact problem without seeing your vehicle. He is doing the best he can with the words you write.

I didn't ban him, I issued a reply banned. Basically, a reply ban allows us to temp or perm block said person from replying to said thread. He was perm reply banned for this specific thread. ;)

He has been warned and separated from this thread. Other than this he is good. I'm sure he will see this and know that Sean and I are very active in here and want our "family" to all get along, learn new things, share experiences, troubleshoot problems and have fun.

And that's what all us rational people want and why we're all here. Having a douche bag like that around pisses me off to no end. He doesn't get it and probably never will. In the month I've been here I've learned all sorts of new tips and tricks, found some cool ideas (and stole them), and lightened my wallet considerably! I absolutely appreciate what you, Sean, and Jace are doing here and I hope that everyone else here realizes all the time, effort, and energy it takes to run a forum like this.

That's odd that is the only light on. Typically with a traction control or abs problem numerous lights are on. Does the Trac button do anything?

Trac button did nothing.. Drove to the dealer, everything worked fine, including cruise. After an hour the service manager said we found the problem, looks like something chewed thru a wire. I asked to see it and under the hood, drivers side loom coming out of the firewall in the corner there was wire chewed in two. Tech said everything checked out fine and it took him a few minutes to find it. Repair cost $100 and everything is back to normal including the performance.

Never had that happen, they said they see much worse all the time tho.

I would of loved to know what wire that was! Interesting it only turned that one light on. Good deal the damn critter didn't get any more. I had a 15 4runner just the other day. 25 wires were chewed. Total insurance bill was over 5k for a new harness... Truck had 11k miles on it...

The repair invoice says: Rat damage to VSC wire, 59 wire repair.

The wire I saw was black or a dark blue.

Hi everyone, new member here, just bought a 2014 Tundra SR5 TRD Offroad last night w/ 12,445 miles! However, I drove it an hour home and when I pulled in the driveway I happened to notice that the odometer still read 12,445 miles....the same it did when I left the dealer! I feel like an idiot for not see this while test driving but its just one of those things you don't pay a lot of attention too. Not only am I worried how many miles are REALLY on the truck (can't be too much more, right?!), I am wondering what could be causing this?

Its still covered under the basic Toyota 3 year, 36,000mile warranty so I 'm going to try to take it in. Any help appreciated...glad to be here.

I would be very worried about it.... I would look it over really good and if your not happy for any reason I would take it back! I would think it would be easy to get out of it considering they have to sign saying that the 14,000 miles is the actual reading.
