I had two trucks professionally done by Ceranic-Pro, love it. Also use a do-it yourself spray on product called Hydro-Sillics, (think thats the spelling) one application lasts 6-8 months, beeds just like the profesional job. Just wash and clay bar the vehicle, spray it on, spread with a micro-fiber towel and follow-up with a dry micro-fiber. $60 bottle will do at least 3-4 applications.

Sorry, I have not tried those products, got side tracked LOL:crazy:. If you want to try the hydro-sillics, I can send you enough to do your truck once, can't hurt

Been thinking about getting a Ceramic Pro coating done. May I ask what you paid, and what you had done?

Sorry for the delay in responding. I had 2 trucks done at Sweet Cars in Fort Wayne Indiana, I had the "Silver package " done, which basically gives you a warranty. I opted to have inside of doors done as well as rims they debadged for me as well, total was around 1k

So, each truck was approximately 500.00? Was there any paint correction done prior to the installation?

The first truck was my wife's brand new Pro, no paint correction, about $800. The second was a used Limited with paint correction, just under 1k. Money well spent!!

Are you happy with what you've seen? I only posted this article because there seems to be a fair amount of chatter on this site about detailing and coatings specifically. There are sooo many products and opinions. It's going to be hard to let go of my carnauba wax, but it feels like it's time. I just watched a youtube video comparing Bead Maker, Adam's Ceramic coating, and Meguiar's hybrid wax coating (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQZgl8CR6o0). **I realize these three products are not the same, and he also makes it clear in the video** My interest is in something that is probably going to last from spring to fall, and from fall to spring (2 treatments per year, Ohio winters can be dry and salty, and the summers can be quite humid and hot). So do I really need something that's going to last 12 months? Probably not. But if I can put something on that's going to be fantastic for 6 months, that's perfect!

Did both my trucks with cquartz myself for under 600$ in materials.

Had to buy a buffer was the main cost.
If you have your own garage and an extra ride, it’s really easy. Just time consuming.

Waxed the truck a few days ago and it was still in great shape. So the wife helped and we washed it tonight and used Bead Maker for the first time!! HOLY COW!!!! Both of us think this is great stuff!! Used it as we were drying it then went back over it to touch up places. It is amazing so far.!!!IMG_0705.jpg IMG_0707.jpg
