Army green color thread

My new 2021 Tundra SR5 in AG. Added a 2" level and the wheels and tires straight away. And yes, I know they aren't to everyone's liking

 

Best Toyota Color EVER...... I'm "green" with envy!! The only concern with this color is catching strangers in the parking lots trying to dry hump these green trucks

 

Give me a week or two and I’ll be showing my AG sr5!

 

Love mine, still have some small odds and ends to finish up. But don’t regret getting rid of my Super White 20 for my 21 AG

It is crazy what removing all the chrome pieces does to the overall look. Makes a huge impact.

 

Unfortunately, I do not have any more pictures that detail the setup.

But I made some custom brackets it’s 2” wide, 1/4” thick. I got a 4’ long piece, then cut, bent, and drilled the desired areas. The 1/4” was a stupid level of overkill, but why not was my thought. Lol

*On a side note, I did have to notch the vertical brace that contains the hood latch mechanism. Plus relocated the horns slightly, so nothing interfered with the TSS emblem assembly on grill and fit in that defined area.

 

Diode Dynamics makes a kit with brackets that has 2 smaller lights that go behind the grille that I've been eyeing. It is available with white or amber lights. Here's the link:

Did you replace the bedside decal? If so have a link? I don't like the clear raised edging on my sport decal and want to get rid or replace them.

A shop made it for me

 

Got my 2020 AG TRD pro in Feb. 2020, before the insane price jumps. Kept my 2012 FJ Cruiser. Now I have a dilemma every time I walk out the door, as to which beast to take!

 

Just got my 2021 Trd Sport. Amazing it only took a two weeks after we found one in the que to flip to my dealer. Leveling kit will be here soon then the tires have to go next and cant decide on wheels.

 

In my humble opinion, bronze or black SCS or Methods would look amazing on that truck.

 

Anyone else noticing these bumps in the paint not sure why or where they came from ?

 

No bumps that I’ve noticed, with that being said I’ll check tomorrow when it’s light out.
I will say this paint scratches very easily.

 

I had it detailed and I’m hoping the power washer didn’t do those

 

Is it tree sap? I just washed and waxed mine yesterday and it turned yellow today from all the pollen

Can't tell in the pic, but some of that looks like it might be rail dust? I don't know; maybe it's not rust-colored enough. It's metallic particles that get stuck in the clear coat from the truck traveling via train.

Welcome, Liz! Great looking truck. I really dig the double cab in army green.

Careful with this place; you'll spend a ton of money on mods before you even know it.

 

So I come here a little blue over the green because my dealer said I missed it by one guy and I bought my mgm just recently now I find out the guy didn't like the green and the limited is just sitting on my dealers lot. MGM is still a decent color but seeing this green limited has me thinking my dream truck maybe worth the headache of seeing if a deal can be done. Beautiful trucks everyone

@ToyotaProTyler loving your set up man. Exactly how I picture mine looking when I get new tires and rims. What size of tires, lift and rims are those. You did it perfect buddy!
