Definitely beefier than the OEM guards.

Trying to figure out if I want to do mine this evening or tomorrow while the butt is smoking.

How long did it take you?
Looks like you drilled for the top holes as well.

Less than 10 minutes I think. The only time consuming part was shoving the tabs into the Ark guards.
Used the 5/16 drill bit to drill.

Maybe I’m a lil OCD but there were surface scratches right out of the box and they do get scratched really easily compared to the OEM pieces.

They wipe right off with any shine or protect product.

I use a tire clean and shine spray foam on my whole wheel well area.
    It works really well.

Good work. I can’t say it took me 10-15mins to install. The one rivet near the air pump took at least 15 mins to go in. Had to loosen the liner to get a little more room to work it in.

I was about to do the same until I grabbed a piece from my plastic pry tools.
I was able to take one that had a crook in it, slide it up in there and pop it in.

Got mine a few days ago. Just installed. Install was pretty easy.
Drill the 4 holes. Painted the metal so it will not rust also.
pictures was before drilling the holes. 98ED0876-2DF9-4829-A659-84518FEB6A85.jpg 72A4D69B-9FB1-44E0-87B3-ED9654B468D6.jpg 72A4D69B-9FB1-44E0-87B3-ED9654B468D6.jpg

Was there any concerns when drilling, I.e need for a drill stop? Did you use the recommended bit size or did you differ as well? Thanks. They look great on yours can’t wait to install mine.

Not really, just let the drill bit do the work and don’t put too much pressure on it. I didn’t feel anything behind where I was drilling. I followed the exact instructions. Good luck

    Yeah, you’re pretty clear there.
If you’re using a short(jobber) bit you’ll be clear for sure.

Finally got around to getting them installed. The passenger side front was the worst part, pretty tight in there. There is what looks like an AC line right above where you drill on the drivers side, the bit seemed to go right under it. I was shorted a clip but used one of the stock ones. I am apparently a lot messier than others doing the install! Seems like a good product that gives a lot of coverage compared to the flimsy stock ones. [IMG]
