Shit. Forgot about that. I changed my mind.

 

Dude has a pretty tight setup. He carried the wife and kid and 2 small dogs on most of the trips that truck has ever gone on (almost every sat for 4 years). Inside a Taco. I can see why he thinks the DC is the right size interior.

 

Everyone with that window forgets there are another whole group of trucks without it. Why Toyota, why? That window... I saw that shit up and down, several times today, on one road, while rolling. Jelly...

 

I swear I only intentionally troll fords with the back window routine…

 

Putting a feeler out there to see if anyone is interested in an all-day event out by the Gila River Loop. My Saturdays are all shot for my kid's baseball games, so I'm looking at Sunday, April 7th or 28th. This would be family friendly, with burgers, hotdogs, bottled water provided.

Tentative plan would be I would set up near the Gila River early-ish in the morning to get a good spot, with some canopy tents, grills and those types of things, then anyone that wants to join can meet up at the Boulders area trailhead off of Florence-Kelvin Hwy and caravan down to the river, or have someone that can shuttle from the trailhead down to the camp area. I'm planning to have a few trails mapped out and we can split up into groups for runs throughout the day, depending on how many vehicles we have. People can hang back at camp and chill, or lead/drive/ride along with anyone hitting trails.

Stock Tundras should be fine to make it through the wash. I'd recommend a mild lift/larger than stock tires for most of the trails, but I will try to have some options that don't require anything special.

 

Just an attempt on to locate a part I need.

Does anyone in Arizona have any 1" aluminum t-slot aluminum or know a place where a person can walk into and buy them? I need one piece and I cannot find those anywhere in Arizona that has stock.

Those smart folks up at Yale tell us portions of the gila river originates in some natural spring in NM mountains... so yes.
