Not present on my 2024 sr5 trd off road. Dealer also said no recall or notes about it. Not sure I want to tackle the door removal and install my self quite yet. Will aee how it goes.

I've got a July 22 build Limited with lots of wind noises and door seal pops when making turns at off/on highway ramps and/or during high wind situation. The wind noise doesn't bother me as much as the popping noise. When the popping happens, I'll pull tight on the inside upper part of my door inwards, the popping subsides, but once I let go the popping continues. Took it to the dealer multiple times and they say they can't duplicate the issue, I call BS. Anyone else have this issue? In addition, the driver side window makes this clicking noise like electricity touching metal or wires hitting against door frame, clicking noises. It goes away for a few seconds after the passenger side window is opened then closed, but it comes back. Dealer also can't duplicate. Anyone with similar or same issue and got it resolved?

in the past with some older tundras I’ve had and I get the “we can’t duplicate”, I figured out how to make it happen and under what conditions, then ask for a mechanic ride along , then say here dude listen to this and show him yourself

I did this as early as my 2000 tundra and the brake caliper that was torching brakes since the 4 piston caliber had the pistons too close to one another and they were cooking the brakes , we road around and the brakes pulsed and I said there you go dude feel that in the floor board .

Sorry to hear about these issues, it must be very frustrating...

There's all sorts of noises, clicks, whistles that people reported for the 22-23 tundras. The only ones I'm aware were somewhat effective repairs by the dealer is replacing the rubber window runner piece... Which helps with whistling.

I haven't really heard any solution for what you're describing.

Why don't you ride with the dealer to show it to them? That's always an option.

Trd Jon had issues with door rattling on his 2022 and now 2023 wind noise and door rattling .

I have a recall that need to be taken care of, I'll ask for a ride along during my next appointment. Thanks!

Following threads like this. The window noise issue is the issue that prevents me from getting a Tundra. I don't think there are enough feedback from 2024 model year to conclude if this issue has been resolved.

LOL, I used to ride motorcycles. You have no clue about wind noise.

    See how that works?

I'd recommend test driving one. Wind noise is relevant to what you're ok with. My Tacoma had a ton of wind and road noise and the Tundra is a TON quieter.

I tried that but whistling noise was not being picked up by my phones microphone.

Wind noise is also subjective... And it's impossible to record it with the phone as microphone isn't sensitive enough... And you can't tell how loud the noise is and if it's normal or not.

Plus, dealership isn't going to try very hard... They're motivated to actually find and fix your issue (which doesn't have a fix). Their goal is to get rid of you one way or another, so lots of times they won't be able to reproduce the issue unless it's very obvious.

If you tape up the seals and figure out yourself where the noise is coming from, and send photos to the advisor, then you're increasing your chances of getting the issue fixed on your first visit as mechanic will know exactly where the wind is leaking in from. Doesn't mean they'll have a fix...

Test drive one to see if it has wind noise or not. I test drove 2024 and it was very very quiet

To be fair, you'd only have wind noise for a couple of minutes.

My 2024 Tundra SR5 Crewmax TRD Offroad does not have those weatherstrips on the front driver and passenger doors. A bit strange that Toyota would include this for 2023 models and then remove for 2024 models. I have wind noise but I'm yet to determine whether it's from the doors or the mirrors. I figured the mirrors. Only hear it at highway speeds.

I also have 2024 SR5 TRD sport and it quite until you hit highway speed(60-70 mph) there is significant wind noise over mirror or across driver window. I haven’t seen anyone say the added weatherstrip to door actually helps? It is odd and lame of Toyota not to add to all trims. I also have a weird motor vibration (felt thru steering) between 72-74mph almost like torsion happening, pulling and releasing sensation. It is not wheel balancing issue…

My 23 Limited OR doesn’t have the door seals. I don’t have terrible wind noise but there’s a bit at 80+ so I ordered the seals to see if it helps - can’t hurt!

.. and the seals are backordered

Haven’t eliminated wind noise. But this got rid of the whistle. Going to put thin 3m over the seem. Or ideal as will resist folding in mirrors but ok for now. I wonder if wedging some moto foam in the gap would work as well.

Yup all those. The foot well vent passenger side makes a whistle. I like the truck but the amount of fit and finish issues is annoying. The thing seat side plastic which passes the actual seat, the plastic door sills, non adjustable rear seat belt height, non flat floor, no tray liners, over bearing electric Nannies etc. o garage door opener on sr5 off road
Hopefully in long run better then the ford I was looking at but initially a bit disappointed.

    None. Just bought.
My wife has been complaining about wind noise and I hear it a bit too, but I was thinking it was due to my having Goodyear window vent/shades installed. Never had a problem with WeatherTech window vents on my Tacoma. ???
