I use a combination of Purina Pro Plan Sport Performance and homemade dog food.

The homemade is pretty easy and inexpensive. The kibble should be high protein (30% protein is a great target).

It makes a huge difference. My dog had breed/genetic alopecia and since switching to a quality high protein food + home made his coat looks amazing and all thin spots have regrown. He has always been active, but was a bit overweight with the old kibble only.. he's lost a bit of weight with the new diet and no major change in activity levels.

My lil doggo has been obsessively licking her arms. I've bathed her several times and have switched up her diet thinking maybe it's an allergic reaction to something and she still does it. What could be bothering her so much and how can I make her stop? She has done it to a point of breaking the skin and causing a bleed several times. I don't know anything about her medical history because I found her wandering in the desert. Any advice, tips, or tricks would be so greatly appreciated.
