Are these springs junk?

I got an alignment at Les Schwab today and asked for an estimate on replacing the leaf springs... $800-$1000.

Going to have my mechanic friend put these on: This full length rear leaf spring Enhancement Pack Set for the 07+ Tundra works with your factory springs and replaces all of the factory leafs except the main and overload. Easy installation.

This enhancement allows an increase in ride comfort along with additional ride height. Lift amount is approximately 1.5" but can vary due to different chassis and load variances. Maintains standard load and towing capacities. Weight on these is approximately 75lbs.
