did you see the platinum mgm long bed a while back they had? Guy was selling in on marketplace for $67k, they bought it and had it listed at $89k and sold it in 2 days. Pretty sure all the dealers in the area are just selling “demos” to each other. Not a single used one with over 2k miles on it.

That has to be extremely frustrating. In Canada they sell at MSRP

We did the same in April; not the best deal but we got like 1.29% APR and the wife LOVES her 4Runner.

I had the TRD pro. Hard truth- it’s barely worth msrp at $70k. That thing is not a 90 or 100k truck.

along with interest and sandbagged inventory I feel like there’s a different buying power in the drivers seat. We’ve kinda shifted generations and have younger people with high disposable incomes.

I see a big shift coming to the resale market due to high interest rates next year.. Used car sales slowing down as we speak. Prices are dropping..
New car sales will probably stay the same due to parts shortages. But who will pay $100,000 for a "used" truck at over 10% financing rate!?

I'm not quite sure what the local dealer is doing. They stopped listing the new Tundras on their website. I drive by there lot and they a few of them in their back lot. They have signs on them that say Not For Sale, Fleet vehicle.

Which truck would you then go for in the 90k-100k range?

It really depends on what you’re looking for . Raptors are nice but not the fastest. TRX is quick but man that cost to maintain is high.

I’m getting mine from Peterson and wasn’t much of a line. Just depends what comes in on allocation. I said no to couple before getting my name on one.
