Are 05-06 AC headlights and taillights inter-changeable with 00-04 AC's

Sorry if there is something here, but I couldn't find a definitive answer:

Will 05-06 AC headlights and taillights fit 00-04 AC?

I know the 05-06 headlights have an extra peanut bulb and also the taillights are more in tune with the DC with them being entirely red with a clear lens up top for the reverse and turning lights.

Reason I ask is I am planning to swap out those lights if I can. Some dude gave me a set of free 05-06 headlights I was thinking of potentially cleaning and swapping.

    Thanks!!!

I'm not sure why the headlights for the AC aren't interchangeable with the DC ones. Aren't both trucks the same from the windshield forward? Weird.

Nah the DC was a bloated version of the AC. Something like 2" taller and 3" wider. The DC was Similar to the Sequioa

I knew it! I knew it looked bigger than the AC and not just because of the length of the cabs. I kept telling my brother that the AC was like the old T100 in size but he was like, no bro, its the same truck just as the DC just not 4 full sized doors. Then the second gens got even fatter looking. LOL

This is true - I bought a 2006 AC because it fits in my garage better than a DC, or an ‘07.

I knew the DC's had this, but I didn't know the 05-06 AC's had that extra light. Now I'm curious if the AC headlights are the same or not. It's been stated previously that the 03 and up AC tail lights should fit on the 00-02 but I don't think anyone here has actually done it. You might have to be our test subject. :)
