I run around my house with my 416 naked. This way anyone who breaks in has to make a decision real quick on who they are dealing with. Plus afterwards when the police show up it’s fun giving statements too. Usually they ask if that’s the 10.5 and I chuckle and say nope. It’s 11.

Drum mags and bull pups are not a good mix... I like both, just not together.

Been running a 10.5 LMT with and with out surefire micro can for the last 6 years in a really shitty place (no not CA ) and it runs like a top. we run 70gr brown tip right around 2500 FPS works awesome was running a HK416 for about a year but it was way to heavy once I add all my other stuff. Cant wait to shoot the new 6ARC its going to be a game changer for some people

Don’t know if it’s worth it anymore but I jumped on the bandwagon a while back.

Obviously you didn’t get the memo. In order to run a 416 with optic, laser and can you have to have tier one biceps also. I can tell when people bought one or were issued one by the size of their traps and biceps alone. That guy? Yup he can walk eight hours a night w a 416 no problem. That guy? He bought one and takes it from his truck to the 25 yard range and back and takes pics for IG and his YouTube channel.

@TundraDude18, As a member of the guild, what do you do with your issued 416 then? Crusades are very long walks.

Picked up yesterday. The mod list for this puppy isn’t going to be friendly on the wallet. Two tax stamps incoming.

As she sits after I got the upper earlier this week and threw it on the lower along with a single point sling I had laying around. Pretty solid fit on my Anderson lower. Pivot pin loosened up nicely but still having to work rear the take down pin with a punch. Seems to interface perfectly with my 2 endomag modified pmags in the recommended function checks. All that’s left is an optic. No buis, this won’t go into the HD rotation any time soon.

Just need to pick up a Bushnell Trs 25 off Amazon, lube it and shoot it.

I think I’m going to enjoy the side charger.

And bonus, manual recommends a diet of 115 grain Wolf and Tula. Hope to get it out in about 3 weeks to figure out if the 8 ounce heavy buffer and carbine spring do the job. If I run into any serious problems on the test fire that will be mission abort on experimenting with different springs and buffers to make it work with my Anderson mil spec 556 lower. If it fails the first function checks it’s getting put away without wasting more ammo.

I will either immediately go with a hydraulic buffer or a dedicated lower so I can enjoy shooting it rather than screw with it. Fingers crossed, as a ton of people seem to find a simple 7.5-8 inch buffer and standard carbine spring to be the sweet spot.

I haven’t had any issues or felt uncomfortable shooting it. I know that some bullpups with the drum mags rub against the shooter making it awkward to shoot. For me, feels fine and in a ways quite nice having the weight farther back and not front heavy.

Yeah I just shot a friend’s new 7 inch custom pistol. Fun little gun but LOUD. He has a folding brace and carts it around as a truck gun in his back pack. Nifty little thing but it produces one hell of a fire ball.

FM9 on Anderson lower with Endomags, 8 ounce Kak solid buffer and standard buffer spring now has over 300 rounds of 115, 124 grain, and 147 grain jhp through it with zero malnfunctions. Easily made everything touch zero-ing at 25 yards. Very fun and reliable range toy that I could see moving into the HD rotation if it proves as reliable with a magazine block in it, when I eventually get one.

Very happy with this build. 640 OTD for upper, what I originally paid for the 556 lower, and the buffer. I will eventually put a 9mm conversion block in it and run Glock mags but keep the Endomags for max flexibility of any of my 3 lowers running the 9 or 556 in a pinch with minimal parts swapping. Maybe take one lower and 2 uppers when I go shooting both 9 and 556 in one session then just swap buffers and break out Endomags if I want to switch calibers.
