Hey guys, 2013 tundra RW, double cab SR5, have the factory reverse camera in the rear view mirror. Was wondering now that I am getting an apple carplay headunit if I can mirror the output of the camera onto the new headunit as well as keeping the factory screen in the rear view mirror?

does any one have the wiring diagram for the factory camera?
another off topic question is: can i Use the factory mic location rather than having that ugly small mic most companies provide?

    Thanks so much

You'll need to use the mic your HU comes with.
It isn't that much of a distraction, you'll forget it is there.

There was a recent thread on your camera situation.
    Here is the thread.

Here is a video with a solution.
How to move your factory Toyota Mirror Camera to your new radio

You will not be able to use both the HU and the mirror back up screen, not even sure why you would want to.

Here is your wiring diagram although I don't think it's going to help much.
    Good luck.

    Mirror plug.

Gotchu thanks yeah ill do the same thing with the mic you did! The reason I wanted to use both was to have a clearer view of my hitch to hook up the trailer, thought the big screen wud be helpful, but i also like the idea of using the rearview mirror to see where im going while having a sense where the rear is in proximity to other stuff i cud back into! thanks so much
