AOB OEM Style Swtich Install

    Im looking to find out what wire to tap on the left side of the dash for power when the dash lights are on when i install an OEM style looking swtich for my lights.

    by the way i did do a search and i couldnt find the thread that the info.

    Pretty much every OEM switch already has an ilum wire going to it. Your best bet is to simply tap off that wire of the nearest OEM switch. On 2nd Gen, the illumination wire for many of the OEM switches is the pink one. Not sure about 3rd gen but my guess is it would be the same.
