Anything other than KO2s I should look at?

So I've been taking my time on deciding what wheels and tires I wanted. I've pretty much narrowed it down to 2 wheels, the MB 352s or the Method MR305 NVs both with a 25mm offset.

I know this part has been discussed many times and I've been reading through all the threads but theres quite a few lol. So my next question....I thought I had my heart set on the BFG Ko2s...but I see a lot of back and forth on them.

As of now I only have a 3" leveling kit on the front. Eventually I change that out for a full lift kit...probably the Toytec Boss as of now.

So....tires....anything better than the Ko2s I should look at that is an all around good tire. I'm planning on the 285/65s right now....most of my driving is highway but I would like to try some offroad as well at some point.

    Thanks yall!

I'm sure there are a lot of great options. I have been happy with my KO2's so far, no complaints.

I agree with these choices. There are a ton of great tires out there. Falken wild peaks get rave reviews and are light weight and very affordable
I'm a sucker for the Michelin defenders myself but I doubt you're looking for a street tire

Ahhh I missed that part. If that's the case she can't go wrong with the Michelin defenders. Best all around tires I have ever owned. They don't look aggressive but their performance would fool you into thinking they were. I can't recommend these enough

Certainly possible. Nothing planned yet. I've got my 3 yr old grandson most of the time. He needs to see grandma. So.... it will happen......but when. It would be great to meet up with fellow Tundra owners in TN!

I currently run K02s. I am about to get some new tires - I will probably pull about 45,000 out of these - which is the best I have gotten out of BFG tires on any of my trucks. However, I won't be getting the KO2s again. If you have any type of uneven wear with the KO2s - they get loud as hell. I had a slight alignment issue that led to some uneven tire wear which led to such a noise coming from the front end that I was sure that my front diff was going. I hunted and hunted for the sound - even went so far as to replace the driver's side needle bearing in the diff housing with the ECGS replacement bushing with no noise resolution. Someone mentioned that it might be my tires. So, I swapped tires with a fellow Tundra owner for just a spell and viola, the sound was gone.

    Just my 2 cents.

I would go with the stt pros over KO2s any day. But I have no need for a aggressive tire and do have a need for a quiet tire that gets good mileage. If that ever changes I'd get the coopers for sure.

I like the price of the stt's over the ko2's too. And if I can get a better tire at a better price I'm good with that too :D

I've been running the BFG ko's 1 and 2's for the last 12-15 yrs, not a single problem out of any of them. Ran the mud terrains before the all terrains. I won't run anything else.

I was fans of Goodyear Wrangler M/T with Kevler my whole Jeep crawler life until tried out first time BFG KO on my Gen1 Tundra, it last almost 40k miles street and some fireroad trail. I then move to KO2 and happy so far.
