    Show me an oil that will prevent a manufacturing defect on a cam bearing, rod bearing, turbo bearings, etc and I will buy that oil no questions asked. Oil/filter topics have been beat to death, oil is oil, filter is a filter. Change it regularly and be done with it. Like you said, people get all warm and fuzzy inside because x manuf said their filter last 20k. Or that x manuf has oil that was on the NASA space shuttle.
