I need one of you guys with 4.88s or 5.29s to put a smackdown on my time with a solid Dragy run, or get some runs that aren’t measurebly quicker. Then I can decide if it’s worth it for me to regear when I do my LSD install! Lol

Whatever this forum told me to do
I suspect we will see 4.4-4.7's from some of the more formidable builds.

Dragy clears the fog. It's like sunshine.

    I hope I'm the slowest. I'm rooting for y'all.

I missed my 2nd run yesterday - my son is leaving today and wanted to go the the range yesterday to see if he could out-shoot me on the texas star. uh..not yet.

I might bite the bullet now that I know the Amazon warranty thing. Assuming the previous testing I did with my phone was even remotely correct I'd expect sub 4.5s, and my supercharger setup is fairly basic so most are probably faster than me.

Well did a first drive and idle in traffic/drive through. Idling for 13min the iat got to 20 deg above ambient. Ambient temp was 81. Normally I would see temps begin to climb almost immediately idling. Seems like its prolonging heatsoak which is good. Driving I saw 10 deg above ambient at 81 deg ambient. Drive time was about 30 min. Interesting data so far.

I wish I would've taken a thermal gun to the box to see temps before and after. Oh well.

If yourself and @Downytide (if he joins in on the fun) can both hit 4.5 or better it may make my mind up on gears since you’re both using 5.29s and 35s which is still a lower effective ratio than my stock gears and 33s. Although Downy also has an IPT VB and headers. I can’t remember what mods everyone has which is why we should include it on our posts with 0-60 times.

Reach out to OTT about the IPT VB vs tuning. If i remember correctly, Justin said over on TW that they can adjust the torque tables or shift tables or pressures idk, but could do the adjustments via HPTuners where it pretty much does the same. unless you've done other mods to actually need the IPT VB

That may be for the 4th to 5th gear flair ups that occur with the Taco transmission....

My tune does already do this, but my understanding is it’s more of a bandaid and is not a substitute for the IPT valve body.

You will have to give me couple of weeks, trying to line up with guys @ OTT for tune session, I'm having issue with first gear shifting at 5k rpm, with 5k rpm shift, I'm averaging 5.9s 0-100kmh, that's 5.6s based on calculation of time * 0.95 , which is verified by racelogic performance box which is pretty accurate.

Nahh, it can’t be that big of a hinderance. You’ve already got the RCSB advantage over us! If my porker can do 5 seconds then yours must be on another level especially with the extra mods. That is if it can hook up, is that a 4wd or 2wd?

Today on NASA science we wrapped the heat exchanger lines. Thanks to Fedex on the delayed wrap for the intake tube. That'll have to be tomorrow.
