If I did that I'd have to add a chrome hood ornament, neon underbody lights, and a coffee-can muffler tip.

Besides you already have curb feelers. Drive forward until you hit the curb. There it is.

Well beside the fact that when properly chromed they look awesome they also will protect 22 inch rims when they are wider than the tire.

Oh no. With curb feelers you need at least 26" rims

I drive a truck, no clue what a curb feeler is. I know about girl feelers though.

Have you considered getting tow mirrors? I use the convex mirror every time I have to park close to the curb. Some people adjust their regular mirrors down, but that's not as convenient.

    Why though??

If it's lifted.....chances are you have enough sidewall not to worry about curbs for the most part.

Plus.....you'd need some LONG ASS curb feelers with a lifted truck....kind of defeats the form.....
As for functionality.....your truck is LIFTED....use it!

i added those little 2" diameter stick on convex mirrors to my side mirrors. those allow me to see the ground right next to the truck and see exactly where the tires are. this also helps for centering the truck in parking spaces.

Been looking for the right set of these for the same use. Did you put yours on the inside lower corner or outside lower corner?
