Had to take a break and take my daily $400 dose of cancer pills.............anyways....I raised my kids on my own. I did the best I could to take them to PI restaurants in LA and China Town, Korea Town, and Little Tokyo. I still fry up some homemade lumpia and crock pot some caldereta. (caldereta basically stew for the Americano's watching this thread). I lived in Japan for 4 years but my time in PI was the best experience in my life. Great people. Great culture. Dang...now I want to go back and visit....haha...

Aww, sorry to hear about the meds...and good that you encourage them to be in touch with their culture. It it is in them. It is who they are. As they get older they will feel the tug, i know my sisters kids would wonder why they dont speak our language, but they were born here and dad was american, just wasnt gonna stick but what did is the same as you, love of our food! Give them time, they WILL get it!

When I had my Tacoma I sold my stock one too. Then come smog time I went in Tacomaworld and asked nicely if I can borrow someone's ... That worked out.
