What’s the easiest way to find out build date again, is that on door sticker?

This is the problem I am having. Drop my kid off at school and go to drive away and get the message that the running board could not retract. It is becoming more and more common.

Just starting out but never will be done
This is one of the blessings and curses of CAN bus network in today's vehicles. Just like all other bugs like this in today's vehicles, I'm guessing it's probably a software glitch, probably a bug in the coding where there's conflicting signals. Most likely they will release a software update to fix the issue if it's not something obviously mechanical.
