-Im thinking the 60" long cooler/ice chest rack on the trailer hitch for starters...could fit plenty of jerrys on that (may be risky if rear-ended..)
-Or anyone gone with that aftermarket replacement bigger fuel tank perhaps?
-The rear-fender integrated spare tire/jerry can rack looks pretty nice too- not sure I want to change the rear bumper out just to carry extra gas now and then tho). This factory 297 gal per tank of gas might not cut it when I decide to up and disappear off the grid down to Baja ; )

I just added a 5 gallon Tommy Tank and going to give it a try before adding another one on the other side. I'll be happy with 10 gallons. There's the transferflow 46 gallon replacement tank but they're not legal in CA. And before you ask about the stock 38 gallon, they're too cost prohibitive.

I know it’s an old post but just in case. If you don’t mind how and what did you mount the holder to?

Just 4 bolts drilled through the bed with big washers underneath. You’ll need something to shim it because of the uneven bed floor. Also added some rubber furniture feet to try to reduce rattling when the cans are empty.

I like this concept, but I would mount them at the front of the bed.

I used bungee cords & zip ties to secure a jerry can in the bed of my RCSB when I took it on a road trip, it was comforting to know I had it... glad I didn't need to use it.

Agree. Better up front. I couldn’t though because I had my roll up tonneau box there.
