I am not hauling parts between dealers by walking. Lol let alone the pallets of batteries, engines, and trannies I must haul back and fourth

This was a good Friday morning read LOL. Gen 3 being my first truck after a bunch of research compared to AT4 & Rebel, still a better choice imo. But compared to prev gen Toyota truck model, I can understand the gripe, still getting over the 'stache'. Newer models will always have issues but this thing is fun to drive and looks nice

100% Agree - the front end is terrible. It's like a blind 3rd grader designed it with lego's.

I just got a Certified 2021 CrewMax before it was too late to get one with low mileage. I just can't figure why Toyota made the Sequoia front end look semi-normal, but decided to make the Tundra look so bad. Practically the same vehicle.

I love mine but kinda hate it at the same time… Mostly how big it is and safety features. Engine, transmission and looks great though.

I’ve had 3 2.5 gens but I won’t be buying a third gen. I don’t like the look, the power train or the pricing. GM or Ford HD in gas will be my next truck.

Toyota never should have handed the keys to the kingdom to Toyota America. When Japan was designing the trucks, they were just better.

nope. new body style was one of the biggest reasons I wanted one. Gen 1 & 2 were too "plain jane" for my taste. Not crazy about the chrome - that's getting blacked out as soon as warmer weather gets here.

IMO it's one of the sharpest looking trucks on the market today.

    LOVE my '24 Tundra!

Wonder if you'll say the same thing after that perfectly designed TTV6 needs replaced at 30K. But it is America so to each his own

Newer Tundras are for Americans that like big, ugly American trucks, but want Toyota reliability.

"Reliablity" seems to be subjective as of late. It does hurt my feelings to see all of the bad/ broken/ blown engine videos on the social medias. Im sure they'll get it worked out. And im sure the gen 3.5 will see the return of the V8 in some capacity

I drive a lot, and I will knock on wood, but I’m sitting at 68k miles and I’ve had zero mechanical issues on my 22 Platinum which I love. I’ve had a bunch of little issues like I’ve had in all my Tundras but my dealer sorted that stuff out a long time ago and it’s been pretty perfect. Maybe I got a good one, and I do take care of it, but if anyone drove my truck and didn’t look at the odometer, they would still think it’s relatively new….just like all my previous Tundras!!!! Did I say already that I love my truck!!!

My suspission with the TTV6 is the ones that blow minus the super low mile ones are lack of service and maintenance. Again the gen 3 seems to be made for idiot Americans who want toyota infallibility, but they're idiots who dont take care of it. Do we honestly think Toyota builds a couple s*** engines that get out into the wild yes, do I think it's 100% Toyota's fault that they have as many failures as they do unless it's a sub 15,000 mi engine no

    I'll just say it...

Millennials and Zoomers™ are the main Vehicle Designers today. This is why cars and trucks keep getting uglier and crappier in quality.

I respectfully disagree Sire. It is the man with the bun. That's the source of all ugly designs. What's next, man with tampons?

There's plenty of non ugly stuff in the 90's and early 2000's, after that it's all out the window. But I'd argue ugly vehicles became the norm in the 70's and 80's.
Doesn't mean it's all of em though.
Plenty of nice 70's and 80's vehicles too.
