Anyone has ordered 2022 Tundra TRD PRO yet?

Hey I'm new here but I am getting my 3rd gen trd pro tundra sometime this week.
I've had a few deposits in since they release the 3rd gen in December. I'll be one of the first in Michigan to get their 3rd gen trd pro

 

That’s picking it up yesterday and a pic near hot springs today. The 3rd pic includes my 07 we drove to Statesville to pick up the new truck

If you are asking, it’s not happening this year. Limited allocations at every dealership and a lists a mile long. If you find one, it will have ADM.

 

actually I have been contacted by one dealer here in southern Michigan, they have TRD-pro enroute, the associate requested completing paperwork prior to vehicle arriving, I felt uncomfortable doing so and I told them i'll wait until I see it live, then we will talk.

 

Was it Wolverine/Spartan by chance? I had a sales guy from Wolverine tell me last week that they had nobody on the list for a Pro and I could get a $1k deposit and paperwork and all of that... When I called him back to go ahead and do it, he ghosted me...

 

Recommend putting a refundable deposit down then! Keep us posted!

 

Trying to generate interest and then hit you with ADM. But I hope I am wrong…

 

Claimed they sell at MSRP, not a penny over... Also that they have a lifetime powertrain warranty, $29.95 oil changes for life, and a few other "Advantage" perks... But again, ghosted me so I let it be...

Found a dealership even closer who I know for a fact isn't charging over sticker, and am supposedly 1st on the list now for a Pro... We will see...

 

The problem with finding the “small town” dealers is they don’t get any/many Pros

The southeast region recieved 16 in their May allocation and there is 165 Dealers in the region. Obviously there some available from scalpers with some asking over 100k. Best chance is to get a deposit in ASAP for a 23’ from a dealer that’s not gouging.

Checked turning radius specs. 2nd gen is 22’. 2022 TRD pro 24’9”

 

TRD pro turning radius is even worse.

That’s a bigger deal than I thought. My 07 has a 44’ circumference. Noticeable difference on tight off road

Had sales person try to talk me into buying their black/black pro for similar markup to what I'm paying for the solar octane. He said they switched form solar octane to black because the solar octane was coming in the red interior, wrong. Then he said the black would have better resale value than the orange, wrong.

 

Yeah, my new Pro does u-turns like an absolute battleship. It is a big truck, but it's pretty wild. Two full opposing lanes and a bike lane aren't enough to do a U-turn without a big swing out first or hopping the curb. Not a deal breaker or anything, but just something to note.

 

I'm gonna save up for another 1.5 yrs and see about a 2024 TRD Pro with rumored TRD Long Travel kit on 37's. That's about the time my extended Platinum warranty is up on my 2018.

 

I'm semi used to it. My shock came from when i dumped the 21 pro for a 21 f150. But this is even worse than that so I might be in for more shock.
