Bud, I don't think OP actually cares what others think based off of his first post. Sounds like he's just asking if others have had this problem with just dodge drivers or in general. That was my takeaway.

I agree, you shouldn't care what others think, but a real man doesn't sitir the pot when there's no pot to stir.

And....."welcome to tundras.com"?????? you do know he's not a newcomer?? Based off of number of messages, you're more of a noob than he is. o_Oo_Oo_O

Going back to my earlier comment about my dodgy old FIAT, the exhaust fell off once whilst I was starting / revving at the lights!

Oil filter fell off once also. Handbrake was useless at all times, it was a manual so on a hill I'd have to ride the biting point

This is so, so true! I am guilty of having a Salt Life decal though...in my defense, it has a shark...

@NoDak Yes! Some people act like they might die if they switch lanes. Illinois drivers are the worst at getting out of the way!

You haven't seen Houston. They stay in the fast lane driving 55MPH like they leased the track from TDOT.

The whole stay in the fast lane when doing below speed is a real problem. No one ever taught these folks to move over and when you give a friendly or unfriendly flash of the brights they still don't move or worse start with the road rage shit.

I don't wait for them to move. By the time their brain start processing the signals so their body can respond and start the whole process of signaling and moving to the right lane, I m gone.

Oh no, come to Memphis. People can't drive at all! They'll hold up traffic on the interstate going 45 mph and even worse when it rains/snows.

People here don't take care of their cars either. I've seen more cars on the side of the road than anywhere I've lived. In the past year, I've seen almost 5 cars on fire, more with wheels torn off the hub, and every time I go out I see at least 3 cars in the parking lots with bald ass tires. Just yesterday this dude was driving with his rear tire wobbling like crazy. It's amazing LOL

I wanted one, but my wife said no.

I just drove through Illinois, I noticed the same thing. It was maddening.

Been through there when I lived on the East Coast. They are friggin' rude about it too, like it's my fault that I have to pass them.

Been trying to stay away from Houston. I hear they have some of the worst traffic in the country.

I do this a lot, but the people you pass are still friggin oblivious to the fact that I shouldn't have needed to pass them on the right. I thought there was talk of a national law/movement to force people to drive right, unless they were moving to pass.

Nothing better than driving on the autobahn -- people understand the rules of the road and you don't have the instances of road rage there as we do in the U.S. Of course, everyone in Germany that has a license has paid thousands to attend drivers education courses just to qualify to take the actual drivers test.

My "favorites", are the 18 wheelers that choose to pass another 18 wheeler on a 8 or 10 mile hill (clearly marked with signage as a violation). Then you end up in a pack that easily gets a mile long while those 2 trucks are drag racing up the hill at 23mph.
After the road opens up the crush of impatient 4 wheelers frequently cause an accident as they race for recovery of "lost time"

I love it when a trucker has this sticker on his/her Semi "if you don't like truckers, stop buying shit."

I like truckers just fine, just can't stand the ones that try to pass a truck going approximately 1 mph faster than the trucker they are trying to pass. Which causes the problem @gosolo described so accurately.

First I want to say that I really enjoy my Tundra! This is my third Toyota truck in my life. I was recently the original owner of a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with the Cummings Diesel and a six speed manual transmission. I sold the truck last year for my current Tundra. I paid 30k for the truck and sold it after 13 years of faithful service for 20k. I put a lot of time and effort in the build to even finding an old ram hood ornament off a 1953 truck an machining it to fit on my 2003 hood; so I suppose I was sold out for my dodge. The Truck was bullet proof! I still miss the torque of that truck! However I never acted like you all described the Dodge owners in your life. There are A$$ Hats in all makes and models! The fellow Tundra owners I meet have been great as we compare mods or pass each other on the street but maybe not so friendly to us returning to our Toyota's on this post!

I had two more Dodge Fan boy incidents today. Won't go into detail. Same old BS from these guys. I can't remember the last time a Chevy/GMC/ Ford truck owner pulled that crap on me. Just sayin.......don't believe in co-incidences. Especially after being around for 60+ years....

Hmm. Sad to hear that! I see from your profile that you are in Colorado (where a man can walk a mile high)
I was born there but left at an early age. I was told that I would not recognize my old hometown now. By your post it seems like I am not missing a thing! I live in North Carolina; where I have not had a single issue here with the Dodge folks. This area is Ford country, so that may be part of it or maybe the douche Ram owners flank to that area of the country. Wish it could be like it is here for you. Life is hard enough without people who suck!

Colorado is still a pretty nice place to be. Most truck owners here are cool. There's always a few who have an inferiority complex...heh..heh..
