So- my ‘05 with 99k is showing the typical ‘butt wear’ at the edge of the drivers seat. I was sitting in traffic on the Pike (as usual), looking enviously at the pristine passengers seat bottom cushion next to me. ‘Why can’t I have that one?’ I asked my bored and annoyed self.
Anyone know why I couldn’t take the seats out and swap them? On my truck the drivers is all power and the passengers is manual, but are they two different parts? Any feedback would be appreciated, before I break out the tools and disappoint myself!

I wouldn't think so because the controls will be on the other side in the center of the truck. How about looking in a junkyard for a better one. There are plenty of them in the New England area.

That’s what I’m talking about, Rowdy- seats out, swap the cushions only; seems
almost too simple- gonna give it a shot as soon as I can get it inside.

Easier to get one out of a boneyard. There's the sensors for the airbag....

On my 99 tacoma I swapped the driver seat cushion with the passenger one. It was only a few bolts.
