I'm getting tired of the slow off road stuff. Missing Glamis and the likes these days. Was wondering if anyone had any feedback on the lands outside of reno where it appears to be pretty open/dunes, etc

I'll be checking out areas next to Spanish springs soon. I heard theres some good trails to let the suspension work. I will report back once I go.

@4x4_Angel you got any recent knowledge or know any locals who could give a report?

Years ago I and a few friends would fish at Pyramid Lake and there used to be lots of good trails to wheel on not far from the lake. We also used to head to Gerlach, about 100 miles north of Reno. Gerlach was our gathering point before hitting Black Rock Desert which used to have some really great wheeling.

Lots of good wheeling near Spanish Springs. Haven't been back since 1977. Probably hasn't changed much except more humans.
