I had to take it back once for poor body work. On the only spot that needed body work, the cab. Paint match was excellent. Paint quality was good. Attention to detail was poor. They left some of the badging off or misaligned it. There's overspray on the windshield. Other than that, it's great.

I was assured it would be perfect. I'll have them put it on the rack again, and I'll go over it. I'll look at it in good light too to assure the paint, orange peel match. Lifetime warranty......allegedly. Thanks.

Just my opinion, I would take salesman up on a steep discount on a new TT. I love my 21 CM trail and the 5.7. I would be concerned with underlying issues. Such as the wheel that took some of the hit. Wheel bearing issues in the future, is the axle and leaf still correctly aligned? My thoughts but good luck whichever direction you go.

@MoneyMan55 @iantung he said he expected the truck back this week, so as soon as I hear from him I’ll run down and check it out including another trip onto the lift so I can examine the underside. Slim pickins around here for low mileage 21’s though, that’s for certain, and they’re not cheap either. Hopefully by weekend I’ll have made a decision.

Btt just to catch you guys up on the latest. After looking over the bodywork, test driving again, and revamping the numbers, including a new wheel, we’ve come to an agreement. I’ve got to move some money around, hopefully pick it up over the weekend. Psyched! Btw, anyone know where I can get a free Monroney Sticker, seems they’re all pay per piece. Thanks

@Jaypown moved money around on Friday. Hopefully it settles out by Tuesday latest as I’ve got shoulder surgery scheduled on Wednesday. Pics soon.

That's painful. Maybe they can get it sorted and you get a screaming deal with a nice extended warranty.

What did you get it for? I would buy one with small body damage if it rides good. Who cares. The whole resale thing is bullshit unless it's a major wreck. Even then I know a guy that buys off copart "totaled" vehicles that shouldn't be totaled but insurances are overwhelmed these days and just write checks. He's made a killing doing that and his customers are repeat. He fixes correctly and sells for large gains

By the time I got the truck home it was dark. Teaser pic, perhaps more tomorrow but I’ve got shoulder surgery scheduled for 0630 so we will see how I’m feeling. At least I got to drive it a little today as I’ll be in a sling for the next 4-6 weeks.

Just to wrap this thread up. Surgery went well this am. Took a few pics for your review. Thanks for all the advice over the last few pages guys.

Forgot to mention, I got the damaged wheel back, the Decked storage system and an aftermarket exhaust that the prior owner added, and they threw in a bed cover too:

Deal done for 50k as pictured + tax with 31k miles. White not my first choice but it’s really growing on me, plus these trucks are really tough to find with low mileage.
