To be fair, these 285/65-20's are not 33's. That is a 34.6"x11.2" tire. Apparently lots of people are being told that these are 33's. I bought my truck with 285/65-20 BFG A/T's on it. They look great. Love the tire. But, not a 33" tire. Much closer to a 35. Same exact height as the 315/75-16's on my Land Cruiser, that "people" say is a 35" tire. Both are 34.6". I'll follow up with a picture of the same truck (it is leveled up front) with 33's, too. Need to take a picture, though. The 20" wheels came on my truck when I bought it. I am also a fan of 17" wheels, and more sidewall. Makes for a much nicer ride. But, I like that everyone likes different stuff! I dont want everyone's vehicles to look like mine!

Even with overall tire diameter and width being equal, the look changes so much, particularly as wheel diameter, width and offset changes.

Here is mine......285/55/20. Just a hair under 33. Front leveled 1-1/2”. After I put the flairs on, It made the wheel and tire set up seem less proportionate to the truck. Now wishing it chose a larger size. :annoyed:

Front and back trd sway bars, 14 inch magnaflow dual in dual out exhaust, undercover bedcover, rough country 2 inch leveling coilovers and rear shocks, 285/60/20 nitto ridge grapplers, wireless charger, driver grab handle, tech12volt 10 inch sub and enclosure upgrade , and stillen cold air intake .
Here's my 2014 1794 with 2 inch leveling shocks, And 285/60/20( 33 1/2 x 11.2) , and stock 20's. I just had to trim the ears off the front of the skid plate. I can't put a finger in between the tire and the steering knuckle.

I couldnt find a pic, but i found this.

    33“ Tires on a 20” Rim
When fitting 20” rims, always make sure you don’t opt for an aggressive negative offset since the Tundra factory axle is quite wide. Always try and stick to a +18 to +20 offset for the perfect fit.

For example, a 33×12.5 R20 will fit perfectly without any rubbing at all. Wheel clearance is 100% both ways as well as in reverse. The 20” tire is a great fit! There is about a finger space between the tire’s inner side wall and the springs and still clears the UCA fine.
