Anybody else drinking a ZIMA, for old times sake????

Found them at my local gas station tonight. Must say there is nothing better than drinking a beer that tastes exactly like a Sprite lol.

Seriously though, this is the first "drink" I ever got "drunk" on back in high school. Fun times lol.

 

HA, I saw them at Walmart today and almost bought a pack to bring back the memories. When I was in high school my dad threatened to beat my a** on afternoon when he found three bottles in the floorboard of my truck. He though I had been drinking and driving, but they belonged to a girl that had been riding around with me. The best part was he never said a thing about the bed of my truck full of Bud, Coors, and Miller cans/bottles. My truck bed was usually the Community beer dumpster during the summer.

 

Same here, used to buy the ladies at the clubs a Zima Red lol

 

I'm old. I fortunately bypassed the Zima craze. Boones Farm does come to mind though. The horror.....

 

Never drank Zima..... or Boones Farm....

 

MD 20/20. I’d say it brings back some memories, but it’s what took them away in the first place.

I have not seen it again. It was not sold in Houston for a while, we used to bring back cases from Austin for the girlfriends.

There was a bar that topped it with Chamborg(?), a raspberry liqueur that made it taste like a grape soda. I remember some girls getting practically "roofied" on that, and spending the night hugging the toilet........

 

So many bad memories being dug up by this thread.

I drank Boones farm once. It’s what the girls were drinking back in high school. We ran out of beer and liquor... and we weren’t going to stop drinking right?

 

Girl friends liked Sloe gin and orange juice. I actually had my first can of beer after high school. I actually studied. It was warm too...down hill ever since that.

Her name was Elizabeth. It was more than 20 years ago, I remember it like it was yesterday. I sealed the deal with a back rub ha ha ha ha

 

I remember the Zima craze. People would put jolly ranchers in them to flavor the drink.

 

Like purple drank.

 

Results after someone has to many Zima jolly rancher drinks.

 

I tried Zima when it first came out. Tasted like Alka-Seltzer. Never tried it again.

 

Zima was my River drink because it didn't get me drunk. I liked it flavoured with a slice of lime. Never combined it with other alcohols and no bad memories. I'll totally buy some this summer!

I think it's 5.0% alcohol... similar to Budweiser swill.
