I have always loved watches; since elementary school. I don't even know how many I have right now. Not crazy amount but more than 20. I have Seiko, Citizen, Casio, a few designers like Fossil and Nautica. My favorite is a Rado, about $700 that I inherited from my dad. I also have my grandmother's watch that my grandpa gave her when they got married in 1927 .

Looking to get a wooden watch. Original Grain, Treehut, Jord, etc...

Not super educated on movements. Worth the jump in price from a quartz?

Here's mine on my summer strap, black/orange like the truck (I also have a brown leather strap and its original SS band):

Nice PO @JoshuaA! I have an black/orange nato, but I can't bring myself to wear it as I feel it draws way too much attention for me. I couldn't imagine wearing the orange silicone band!

I’m not a collector but I’ve always loved watches because of my dad. He brought me back a timex from deployment when I was probably about 4. And he let me wear his watch around when I was in middle school so I never thought it was real. I found it a couple years ago at my parents’ house all beat up and I had it serviced and gave it back to him.

He passed away a couple months ago and now my younger brother wears it.

These are my favorite watches that I have.

Starting to get more into vintage pocket watches. I used to work in the diamond industry as a stone cutter and I always got to see some incredible time pieces. If anyone’s interested some of the best deals you will find on Rolex are in pawn shops. Especially the pawn shops around Las Vegas and Reno. Quality time pieces hold their value over the years and are a very solid investment. My daily wear is the Citizen eco drive dive watch but my favorite will always be my grandads Crosby pocket watch my grandma gave me as a kid. Pretty sure that’s what started it for me.60EA3787-8EEA-4FE6-8A90-7883403D17D8.jpgAAAF8245-0F67-4476-BBEF-435D6F270126.jpg

I don’t know if you all have seen the Daniel Wellington’s - these aren’t very expensive watches but for the occasional suit wearer they are very nice and well built.

    https://www.danielwellington.com/us/

I’ve had a few watches that I bought when I was younger and more carefree with money like an ‘86 square face Longines and a Breitling.

Now I wear a Seiko a Boulova a Wenger and a Eco Drive on the regular.

Thanks! Nice Nato combo! 90% of the time my PO is strapped with black leather/orange stitch. I mainly wear it with suits. My daily driver is a black G-shock Aviator, love G’s, I can bash them around without a worry.

I'm right there with you. I have a fairly good collection and feel that the bling watches just don't fit my persona and call too much attention. I look for unique and at times rare pieces that are wearable on an everyday manner. Shinola, our of Detroit, is an up and coming brand that I have my eye on. Don't have one yet because I think they currently charge way too much for the movements that in them. But there's a lot of good ones out there.

Nice Collection! I have a few (7). Nothing crazy expensive. My favorite brand is Fossil. Very inexpensive and look really nice. I also have a Movado. Man I love that thing. Currently wearing one of my Fossil's.

I looked at the Shinola - I’m not too keen on their styles just yet.

    I’m a classic guy.
