Any one have these tow mirrors? Thoughts?

The blind spot mirror can be moved vertically a lil. Horizontal has a alot of adjustment bsm is off on mine but I clipped the purple wire that powers it.

 

Were you ever able to wire this all up?

 

Not yet with work and hunting season I haven't had the time lately

 

I hope to be attempting the wiring in the coming week so I will keep you posted, just looking for a schematic/diagram of the wires inside the cab.

 

Glad to hear hopefully it's not to bad a job to do I just wanna be able to dedicate a couple solid hours once I start

 

Same here, waiting for a good solid evening to get in there, I'm definitely going to hook the mirror spotlight into the bed light switch, or maybe make it independent with it's own switch...and I'll just need to find the drl/park light wire and turn signal, any idea on where to find wiring diagrams?

 

So paint is done on the mirrors and just finished up the boost auto wiring harness,will add more pictures when installed.

Adhesion promoter,202 black then clear.the harness is inside the mirrors and it make the front light a running light and signal!

 

How difficult was it to wire? Provide any details?

 

It’s a kit from boostautoparts,very simple install just clip some wires,add the supplied harness and run one wire to a running light circuit!

Can anyone confirm what the BSM light looks like on these, a picture possibly would be awesome. I read that you guys were disabling it because it was constantly on but in all the pictures I can only see the mirror heater indicator and turn signal areas that look like they light up, am I missing something? I have BSM currently and want to continue to have that function but I just can't tell where on these mirrors would actually light up. Thanks for posting everything so far, you guys are awesome! (My first post on tundras.com, hoping to contribute more soon)

 

It's in the top, outside corner of each mirror. It is a triangle that lights up orange.

 

So not sure if I just got the bad ones...but I have some moisture inside the amber led light housing on the front...I know you can replace it but still...

 

After watching the video a few times I'm curious, what running light wore would you use? And the additional wires on this tundra mirror has 3 wires not 2 like in the video...

 

Friend of mine just did this to his Ford. Had to re wire it because there was no plug on the new mirror. Might check before you buy

 

I installed the boostauto wiring kit and have they’re strip style lights being delivered Monday,very easy install will post pictures when done!

I’ll have the lights on Monday but the wiring kit from them works great!

 

What running light did you splice into?

 

Running light wire on the original plug to the mirrors

 

So the light turns on with parking lights and operate as turn signals? Where did you ground?

 

It grounds to one of the grounds in the mirrors

I wired my spots to the courtesy lights,I’ll definitely post some pictures when done!
