I do and I love it. Stays full of inspection and testing equipment most of the time for work. If we are going on a longer camping trip then the tools get pulled out, which is really easy, and then things like folding chairs and other useful items get put in there. One of the best investments I have ever made for one of my work trucks. If your truck has a locking tailgate then you don't need to purchase the locks for the boxes but I would suggest purchasing the tie down rails and installing them at the same time.

Yep, love mine. Keep my toolboxes and camping gear in there as well as hunting/range stuff all the time. Pelican rifle cases fit pretty good down in the drawers too. Definitely get the deck rails for it too for tiedown points20191014_161017.jpg 20191012_135616.jpg 20191230_183512.jpg

I looked at them, their website states.. only water resistant.
I can't have that.. living in the great northwest.

Their drawers are also a bit on the narrow side. seems to be some wasted space.

I designed my own with better use of drawers that is 100% waterproof.
I Used plywood, square tubing, skateboard bearings & rubber weather-stripping.. then used truck bed liner on the top.
I can open the drawers with my pinky finger & I have never had any moisture problems.

    I had the plywood already.
all in.. my cost was around 150 bucks.

i think they make sense if you gonna run them under a camper shell. So it is still protected from the elements and you still have space above them.

Do you by chance have a "How to" guide on this mod? I'm not sure I'm handy enough to pull it off, but I know people. lol

I’ll see if I can get a couple photos for you.
Quite a simple build really. I just thought about the build for quite a while on how to insure it would be bulletproof in the waterproofing.
It’s been on for 3 years now & I’ve never had 1 drop of water inside.

    Nothing but good stuff.
I love mine, but because of the water resistance, I put a shell on top as well.

With mine, not discounting anyone else's experience, they have been watertight. Not the cubbies in the corners, but my two drawers have been dry as a whistle and my truck stays outside and has been in some serious downpours with the drawers staying dry, both driving and parked. I did accidentally leave one cracked open though and it filled halfway up with water one night in a rainstorm........

Ditto here and I’m in the south where it rains every afternoon and all day some days depending on hurricane paths or bands of showers. My drawers have been totally dry. I also run mine under a pressure washer to test it out and no spray or anything got under there at all. So to get through the decked system and then get into a pelican case or the decked drawers would probably be owner error somehow. As stated above, the four corner storage areas will get wet so just put chains or other things that can get wet in them or use dry bags and quit worrying about it. The system is awesome.

Wanted to throw a quick note on our weather proof drawers. If you are getting water in your drawers - SOMETHING IS WRONG. Please call or email our customer support to help walk through what could be causing this as it is not normal.
    https://decked.com/pages/contact-us

We don't ever say "waterproof" as technically they are not. There is a small space between the top of the drawers and the underside of the DECKED bed. The only time you would ever get water collecting in your drawers if if you back up too far down the boat ramp.... but you will likely have bigger problems if that's the case. As a few have mentioned above, any water coming from above should not find a way into the drawers.

Be sure to reach out to our support team for help - we stand behind our product and and are here to help.
