Nice clean kit! What kind of kit? Those basses are nice. Love the finish on the 5 string. What kind of basses are they? Looks like a Warwick.

Thanks man!! The home kit is a 14 year old PDP maple. The church kit is a 25+ year old Sonor that once toured with Earth Wind and Fire:) Its a very nice kit I just hate the German hardware... The 5 string on the left is a Schecter Studio made from bubinga with a rosewood fretboard and the 6 string is an Ibanez BTB made of poplar burl with a rosewood fretboard.

That's some beautiful gear you have there. I used to play guitar but not so much anymore. I ended up selling a lot of my gear a while back. I just couldn't find the time so I couldn't justify having a ton of gear that was taking up space in my office. The only guitar I have left is an Ibanez. I would eventually like to get PRS but I know once I get one I'll want the gear I previously had. :D

I have zero musical talent and lack rhythm and don't understand music notes at all. Always wanted to play drums though. Tried a good set before and had a friend try to teach me but didn't help.

Good for you. I'm an acoustic guy. Though I do plug in and use a little reverb and chorus now and again. I've had several acoustics but keep coming back to Gibsons.

Very nice!! Gibson makes a good looking and sweet sounding acoustic. I have a cheap Ibanez "artwood" acoustic. Looks awesome, plays pretty good, sounds decent so that's all I need. Keep playin! :rockband:

I was thinking about starting a topic like this but then decided to search and lo and behold!
I'm going to respond and regenerate this thread to see if any new musicians have arrived that care to share their gear.
Years ago, I played drums for a few bands specializing in late 60's - 70's rock mainly British Invasion stuff.
The last time I played with a group, it was a three piece bass, lead and me on drums.
I was much older and had an absolute blast! But as things go, eventually we all found reasons for not practicing and then it dissolved.
In 2014, I was driving past a local music shop and stopped in for no particular reason.
In there I found a 1996 Epiphone Les Paul Standard. With no previous thought, I thought, why not teach myself to play? I've always admired guitar players but never thought about learning how to play.
So now, four years later, at age 67, I'm wild about guitars! I have learned how to play and can now call myself an intermediate player.
I still get behind the trap set and practice in the basement every now and then, but now, I mainly practice the guitar.
    It's never too late!
Here's a collage of my gear.
    Cheers!
