Some good games this weekend and gold cup starting!

I got most of the Copa and Euro games wrong, let's see if I can have better luck with Gold Cup.

Well I predicted the outcomes incorrectly. With so many games going to penalty kicks it was a total crap shoot.
As long as the US women win gold at the Olympics all will be right in the world.

 

Oh yeah, both tournaments were all over the place.
Hell yeah buddy, USWNT will def do great.

It really was, all 120 minutes of it.

Yeah, the women just couldn't get it together and not just this past game either. Hope they can get a bronze though

 

Now to get overly excited and be let down by not qualifying for the World Cup.

I had it on but I pretty much ignored it due to work and then had to check the groups afterwards.

 

I was getting worried after the first two games, but the subs worked their magic tonight. Hopefully Berhalter has learned somethings and can keep this going in the next window.

am starting to like soccer, especially the World Cup, but they should make it every 2 years instead of 4.

#1, it would be a big money maker, and #2 you would not have to wait for your favorite team to play every 4 years to try to win if they don't make it to the final.

 

I was watching the draw. B is a pretty good group, the US should be able to make it out.

 

Save this post…USA will be in the wc semifinals. Final will be just be cherry on top. The team looks great.

 

I hope you're right, but I'm doubtful the US makes it past the knockout stage.

Unsure why USMNT hasn't called up Justen Glad. Seems like a huge oversight.

I forgot about this thread, but here's my boy with the GOAT / Wall of the Wasatch.

My kid plays on a U12 team but also plays up a year on a U13 team. He's a phenomenal keeper for his age. We have him training with some USL championship level coaches and also with a local HS coach who has trained players up to the MLS level. Hoping for some free college.
