Ok all, i just installed the switch and it works great. However, I have a concern. Has anyone noticed how long the auto function stays activated. I noticed once the window is fully up or down it continues to apply power to the motor for quite awhile. Must be a built in delay to apply power to the switch when pressed into Auto mode. Is that the same as the platinum trim level switch operation? Will or Does this have any negative effect to the longevity of the drive motor, etc...?

Does anyone know if the 3 passenger switches are lit?

How many seconds is quite a while?

The switches that had double auto from the factory have a secondary computer that controls when the motor turns off. That is why you couldn't swap in a double auto switch into the SR5 trim.

I timed it this morning with the truck off. It appears the auto mode engages the power for 8.5 seconds. It takes about 4 seconds for the window to go down and 5.5 seconds for it to go up. So it is applying power for an extra 4.5 seconds down and 3 seconds going up. I may put the stock auto switch in to test how long it engages when using the stock auto down feature.

I was going to install mine after work today - I can test the auto down before I do the swap so you don't have to swap it back and forth. Would I just be listening for the window motor to be running in excess after the window is all the way down? You got me curious now.

Hopefully they can come out with one to replace the double auto switch. And maybe one for the rear window as well

Great, that would be helpful. Yes, just listen for when the motor stops working, it is an audible click when the relay shuts it down.

This would be pretty cool - not sure why it isn't standard on the Tundra. My wife's 4Runner has the auto up/down for her rear window and it's just a SR5 (premium) package/trim

I have almost one full Mississippi from when the window stops moving down until the 'click'

Edit: Also of note. Is it just me or are these window motors loud as hell?

Right? My gfs 4runner has auto up down for every window. And the rear window switch is located in a more convenient spot

Just tried it out. It's almost immediately after the window bottoms out there is an audible click.

Doesn’t power to the motor get cut in an overload anyway? Otherwise I could hold the window button down or up manually and burn the motor out

Anyone that still has the box does it say "RAV4 13-18" on the label? Just caught my eye. Otherwise the fit and form factor look to be correct.

Same! I received two boxes from them because I decided I needed the passenger switches a couple of days later. Both boxes list the RAV4.

I wonder if it's actually the same as a Toyota RAV4?

That is honestly what I'm wondering. If it is just a Toyota RAV4 window switch. Has anyone tried this? Buy an OE Toyota RAV4 window switch?

My understanding is that the factory auto windows functions are handled by separate ECU's so swapping RAV4 switches in would not work. From this listing it looks like the RAV4 switches are the same form factor and maybe they just have them all listed under that model but they work on our trucks :notsure:

Just went and looked up the RAV4 of that year range on RockAuto and it's just a driver window Auto up down switch. Not all four

I just installed - everything functions great. I did notice a solid 4 count like @jtwags did before I heard the discernable click in both the up and down auto.

Decided to check my wife's 4runner (all windows auto as others had mentioned), the click is basically immediately after auto up/down completes.

Just went out and checked the wife's 2017 rav4 platinum - yep the switches look identical! But also only driver window auto down. So maybe once they get here for the Tundra I'll do a quick rav4 test.

I was mad you guys ordered after me and got them before me but they must not have had my color in stock in California so now my order will wait for next shipment to get stateside, then ship from CA. Better than waiting 5 weeks to ship direct from China I suppose.
