The DJI Go4 app sucks. Pixelates really bad and pretty much makes it unflyable. When it does work, night pics are absolutely horrible. This is my second Mavic due to damage on the first one. The first one was amazing and had no issues at all....even at night.

I started flying FPV quads a few months ago. I was going to buy a Mavic Air and then found some FPV racing videos on YouTube. I hope to eventually get a DJI, but right now I'm having too much fun with the racing / freestyle type.

Here are a few of mine:

I've got a Phantom 4. My display pixelates a lot on the tablet but I am not so sure that it is because it is a piece of shit tablet. The Wi-Fi and video may be too much for it. Recorded video is flawless 4k.

Pixilated feed on your tablet can come from atmospheric issues such as nearby towers, antennae’s, distance from you to your drone and terrain you are operating in. Similar to radio wave propagation and interference. Is the distortion constant or just at a certain altitude or distance? Or does it start from takeoff?

You would have to really fuck up to crash a Mavic Pro.
I mean drunk, fighting someone for the controller in the dark while driving down a country road.

Even then I doubt it would crash

    nothing much
I have the Mavic Pro. bought it when it first came out. probably less than 6 hours flight time since ive owned it.
    lol... damn impulse buys.
what i found to be the issue with crappy video transmission is the quality of the SD card. get the best card available and that should clean up the video quality. i dont remember the exact logic but its what i got from this same question on a DJI forum.

I have the Mavic 2 Zoom. Great drone. I highly suggest ditching the DJI App and ponying up for this software....

I have a commercial license and it would also void the insurance I have.

I have no limits on mine once you enter the proper code.
That and I am not looking for a 10,000 fine for flying where I shouldn't be.

@Zero One Actual sometimes it pixelates at takeoff. There has been issues with the Dji Go app on the android side. Some of the guys in the DJI forums went back to older versions of the app, I did as well. I use a Galaxy S7 for video, and I'll have to look to see what sd card I am using. I haven't flown in months because of the issues. I even swapped USB cables. I could try updating the app and the firmware to see what it does. This is the second Mavic Pro that I have had. No issues with the first one. For those with the first Mavic Pro, what are your camera and video settings? Nighttime flying is horrible with this thing right now.

I also use an S7 for my feed.
Let me ask around and also look at some settings and see what could be the issue.

I have owned this hubsan below and it is a good value, flys well, and the feed is shockingly good. Would highly recommend for the cost. I also have one of their larger High end models, and like it, but this one below is a breeze to land and has auto land not at the DJI Price point.
