Just curious if we have anyone in the Corpus area that wouldn’t mind taking a peek at a truck for me. I’m in San Angelo so this would be a solid 12hr drive for nothing if it was in worse shape than the pictures show.

Ive been looking for a donor 1st gen 4wd DC for several years now to do my 4wd swap. This is the only thing that I’ve seen pop up in Texas for a half decent price. The thing is that he doesn’t give a good picture of the damage from the passenger side but swears “the main frame wasn’t bent”.

If anyone has some free time and wouldn’t mind taking a peek at this truck for me, hit me up, either pm or on here and I can see if I can set it up with the guy. Who knows, I may be willing to hand you off a case of my recent home brew if it works out. I’d be willing to Venmo you some cash for your time if it’s ugly and not worth the trip.

Yeah that’s it. I’ve been in contact with the guy and he swears it’s a clean truck.

I really appreciate it man, If nobody else chimes in I’ll let you know something early next week.

Welp, never mind. Dude says he doesn’t have a title. “Didn’t have full covereage when it was wrecked so I ended up eating it.”

You mean, you still have a lien on it and want to get rid of it before it’s repoed?

Why would it matter if just for parts? But, I'd only offer $500 now....

What keeps the bank with the lien from reporting it as stolen and beating down my door?
