Dealer called a few weeks ago (traded my 17 1794 reg 9th) and said he could get mine but with a short box skated to land oct 13th. I’ve waited this long so I passed. I want overly keen on the 5.5’ even with back rack.

I dunno man, Capstones are being delivered, and you definitely cannot order those back then, I think just right now short inventory and whatnot.

On a side note, Capstone's interior is darn nice, they should just make the windshield standard across all trims.

It has the acoustic windshield, which is thicker and help with sound, and it does.

I ordered mine on June 1st (Limited OR). At that time I was told the wait time is about a year.

Starting to get anxious so I actually asked my dealer this past weekend where I was in the order queue and how many Tundra's they get in their allotment each month. The answers were 94th and that they receive between 3 and 10 Tundras per month. Overall, it looks absolute best case is 9 months yet.

There is a probable production volume reduction in Sept and October that will extend the wait a little longer.

I guess we all have to hope that supply and production schedule stabalizes so that the wait time can get reduced.

Picked up my girl today after a road trip to North Bay to get it. Ordered mid May'ish "claimed the one Dealership already had coming so not a from scratch order" Supersonic Red Platinum L, was debating between Red and Blueprint anyways.
One sad note thou it looks like there are a few small scratched in the touchscreen between the glass layers :( not on the surface after cleaning and multiple people looking at it and manager said we can put in a claim and order a new screen at least no hassle, more noticable when the truck is off just sucks in general cause I have the screenprotech protectors to put on it but might hold off if were gonna replace the screen. The colour is fairly close compared to the car and gorgeous in person vs staring at pics for last few months and seeing Red on other trims.

Also I prefer the HUD on the Camaro over the Tundra by far, wearing polarized perscription sunglasses today and you can't hardly see the HUD on the Tundra and no issue seeing it on the Camaro. Can see it with glasses off mostly fine on a fairly sunny day but sunglasses was almost impossible to see and would just look at the dash instead. Same with what's available to place on the HUD, seems like far less options on the Tundra vs the Car but still gotta go through all thee settings and manuals now so might change but initial impression for the HUD was meh at least during the day.

Good update here. I found a different dealer with an allocation of a 2023 Limited long box in Blueprint. Signed the order today with delivery anticipated in November. I couldn’t be happier.

    Awesome, good for you.
Apparently my deposit I put down in May is non-refundable. It was never mentioned and I guess I am an idiot cause I didn't ask.
That leaves me just waiting for my original order.

    Thanks for sharing Kuralex.

I will still keep fingers, toes, and everything else crossed hoping for the best.

What a bummer to hear you have been waiting almost 8 months.

Good luck to you as well!

You sure? The online builder shows the SR5 TRD has acoustic glass too.

I wouldn't trust Toyota Canada's brochure, they listed mine with softex interior, they probably list it as "accoustic" as marketing, but Capstone definitely have much thicker glass, it does help with wind noise.

What do the kids say, how it started vs how it’s going? First pic was Friday day I got it, 2nd pic today Monday. Rubs on fender, will remove the bracket tonight and pin it back, trying to keep the mudflap on there. Otherwise flap will come off till truck gets leveled. Few other things on the list for this week!

I was called out of the blue by the dealer. Another customer cancelled their order when the truck arrived. I dropped everything went to see and test drive. Was everything I wanted, a Limited TRD Off Road. Long and short is that I am getting step bars and tonneau installed and picking up on Friday September 16.

I paid my deposit in Dec 2021

Dealer is telling me my truck should be here around November 22nd

Can anyone tell me if this would all be transit time? Or would a 2 month time period include being built and shipped?

Just hoping that it is already built and I won't see any more delays

Ordered my Hybrid Platinun in September of 2021. Still waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting… Meanwhile my trade-in is getting older, and lease / finance rates keep increasing. I’m getting double f’d!

It is frustrating. Ordered mine six months ago and was quoted at 3.99%. Now it looks like we'll easily reach 8/10% in first quarter of '23.
How is it even possible to wait since September of last year? Our options are straight forward, no packages like down in the US. Unbelievable.

Ordered a TRD Off Road Crewmax in March '22, Winnipeg dealer said 6-8 months. Latest update, I'll get a 2023 model in the first half of 2023, they couldn't say when...
Trading my 2017 Tacoma; it'll be a year older/more mileage and interest rates have gone up significantly. Should I expect the dealer to change the terms of the deal I put together? The sales agreement includes trade value and a cheap monthly payment, not sure if they locked in the interest rate, spoke to the sales manger about this and received a vague answer...expecting to get screwed a little more. Lol
