My dealership emailed to say Toyota has told them their 2022 allocations were filled, meaning I have to wait and get a 2023. Unless they get extras, which seems to be happening, or someone refuses theirs. As impatient as I am, I was able to get my Dad’s old 2009 Sierra running (sounds like an F1 car, lol) plus Toyota seems to be ironing out more problems. So maybe for the best.

I'm in the exact same boat. Sucks seeing every truck except for yours arriving.

Out of the blue (so to speak) my dealer called me to offer a White version of the exact model I want (Limited Crewmax). I am not keen on white, but I am also not keen on waiting a long time - so maybe a reasonable compromise. Apparently someone above me changed their mind.

I took a test drive today, and quickly decided I could live with the white. So it comes home with me tomorrow

White looks really good on the 2022 Tundra, I'm surprised you were apprehensive about it.

I was up in Algoma for a week, I'm almost certain that 50% of new Tundras are sold there, just about every 1/3 Tundra I saw are the 2022s.

Their CS and general way they treat people is garbage thou. I went to North bay to order mine with the awful way we were treated at Laking, 10x better experience so far with North Bay. There are also not many Toyota dealerships in northern Ontario either.

The locking rear diff may just come in handy some day. It was the main reason I sprung for the TRD Off Road. That and the crawl control.

If it is any consolation... ordered TRD OR Limited gas only in October ‘21, and changed to TRD OR Limited Hybrid as soon as dealer got pricing... maybe March ‘22 ish. I don’t feel any closer than you might feel lol.

Order a blue Limited Off Road Feb 19, text my sales person yesterday for an update, he replied we need to look at a 2023 model. My question is did they sell the truck I ordered!?! Was thinking trucks ordered in Feb should be coming in. Thinking I'll get my deposit back and start over at another dealer.

I am pretty sure the dealer doesn’t know, Toyota doesn’t give them this info. I got lucky and got a white version of my limited, if I waited for my Blue it would have been 2023.
On the upside, I have 1500km on it (vacation) and this is the most enjoyable to drive vehicle that I have ever owned. And to
boot, on eco mode, not towing, on a road with an 80km speed limit I am getting 10.4!

I've ordered Double Cab Limited Off Road Jan 10, and also did not get any info from dealership. As bobby4 mentioned the dealer simply doesn’t know.
I would not recommend to start over at another dealer, as you will lose your spot in the line.

Feb. 19th, going to drop by the dealer and see what's up. I have a 2018 Pilot that is pulling my trailer (18ft RPOD) better than I expected so I'm good to wait, would be nice of the dealer to provide an update, even if it the update is we don't have an update.

Emailed my salesman yesterday and was told that anyone getting their Tundra now "ordered" them December or January.
