    I just got my letter in the mail yesterday and made the order with the dealership. Should be here in a day or two. Bought my truck in January 2023.

    Not sounding so good...just got a great price (well below MSRP) on a 23 Platinum but only has one key. I'm guessing I'll see mine when the 2025s start to come out ;)

    None yet, just bought 9/30/23
    I just bought my '23 last Saturday. I called the Brand Loyalty hotline or whatever it's called for help pairing the Toyota App to the truck. While I was on the phone they told me I had my key coming next month.

    That sounds very promising. Made me wonder what happens if you lose the one key they give you before you receive the second key. I'm not worried about it, was just curious if we'd heard any updates on what the lead time was and it sounds like you got some good news. Thanks for sharing!

    Hi, I got Tundra 2023 from July and still waiting for second key. Somebody says not rely on Toyota contact us, so what way to contact them, calling the number 800-331-4331 or dealership?

    I am moving far away from my dealership where I bought the truck, can I just switch to toyota dealership near to my location for key program or any service (5K, 10K miles....) in the future?

    Picked up the truck a couple months ago. They said 6 months ish without much confidence on the second key. Good to see others are getting keys though

    It's only been 2.5 months since purchase, but not having two FOB's is becoming a pain. I am prepared to purchase one at the parts counter if Toyota will reimburse me. Anyone actually been reimbursed after purchasing one?

    I read in here, where I think 1 guy got Toyota to cover the cost... but others I think have tried, without luck. It took me about 9 or 10 months to get mine, and it is so much better now to have 2 with 2 drivers (which is fairly normal in families), so her settings are automatic, as are mine, when we swap vehicles. I would hope Toyota would accelerate their sending them out to customers.

    Totally agree. Seems like a silly complaint, however since you don't need an actual key to get into and start the vehicle, I usually leave it in my backpack (which I take everywhere), and when I travel sometimes I take it with me and my wife can't use the truck. Because Toyota actually HAS the part at the parts counter I am not buying the "supply chain" excuse. They should take care of their customers. I love my truck so far, but not a Toyota customer service fan ATM.

    I'm not buying it from anyone about anything, especially for the last year or so. It's just bullplop to keep prices artificially high, and many are falling for it.

    My truck was built in January and delivered in Feb. Still no notification etc. Only notifications i got in the app are for Increased Fire Risk and bed cover (which mine didnt come with)

    Still no key! Hopefully soon?

    I should have mentioned in this post that the customer service person I spoke to told me that the key fob were being sent out in phases, and I was in the phase that's up at the end of this month. She didn't tell me about the phases, how often they came around, or who was in what phase. Had I known this was an issue when I called I would've asked.

    Bought a 2023 Tundra 1794 in late December 2022. Getting my second key fob today along with Tonneau cover fix and the harness clip on top of the cover that won’t tighten down. I asked service rep to look at the fuel line TSB and I was told there was no recall. Had to show him the APP notice to have them do a safety check.

    Well. Looks like a 3rd trip back to the dealership as the Tonneau cover needs to be replaced. Cover on order. No ETA unbelievable

    Hmm, I'm now getting a "a new key has been registered - please contact your dealer" ??? After having going to the dealer, and getting the 2nd key fob programmed for my truck. It seems to be working ok. Not sure why this message (It comes up when I step into the cab with my original key ) ??? Anyone seen this? Any idea how to get rid of it? I'll contact the dealer Monday.

    I bought a '24 off the lot last week that had arrived end of September. One fob but given 2nd valet key. No idea when remote arriving. I just checked the app after reading this and no info of course.

    I had gone from an '08 Tundra I bought new to a '23 Ram 1500 hybrid hemi based on universal positive reviews and a short test drive (and the fact I couldn't find a 6.5' bed with HUD) in May. Drove it 3k miles and never liked it. It was fast and somehow routinely got 18 mpg however. Terrible handling though and felt like a beached whale driving it.

    The Tundra is better in every way to me except the Ram had the best side mirrors I've ever had in any vehicle. They really nailed it there. Also had a better designed center console (IMO) and a flat floor in rear.

    Took a bit of a beating in the process but really glad I did it. I got 15 years out of the last one...

    I ordered a fob yesterday. delivered next day. $200 for the fob only. $89 for the programming. $119 if you want the metal key cut.
    My truck is a 5/23 build. Fob not scheduled until Q1 2024. Everything RyanwGregg posted matched what the dealer said.
    I knew I was getting one fob at purchase so not a big deal but needed a second.

    Order key p/n 8990H-0C010. I got mine on sale at Passport Toyota for $119.31 during a back to school sale. SE Toyota dealers also had a 25% sale recently w free shipping.
