    We are planning a Mojave East to West run March 15th - 17th and are looking for a couple more trucks to join us.

    For vehicle and equipment requirements, refer to the first post in the NorCal Offroading thread written by Joon. All the usual things, good running condition 4WD, spare tire, recovery equipment, etc. https://www.tundras.com/threads/norcal-offroading.15932/

    You will need your own camping gear. We will be camping Mojave National Preserve, but not at the 2 large campgrounds.

    Meals are TBD. We generally do shared breakfast and dinner and individual lunch.

    Confirmed:
    @GodlessPro
    @joonbug
    @831Tun
    @Vizsla
    @BestGen
    @Porschetech29

    Tentative:

    The exact route is being worked on, but if you want to get an idea of what it will be like, check the Funtreks website.

    We need to come back down and do Anza-Borrego, so maybe we can get the schedules to work out for that one.

    You better. You need to do a shake down run before T2S after doing all that work to your frame

    Dude I want too! My friends and I have been talking about a Mojave run for awhile now. Too short notice for me, can't get the time off work but also have plans that weekend already.

    My buddy went through the water crossing (made it) but half flooded his interior :rofl:
    He bought a snorkel for the next time because he was so worried about sucking up water.

    Just rebuilt my coilovers so I'm itching for a good test on them!

    That's cool, nor do I! Haha. What did you do with your intake routing since you have glass? On a taco it comes from the passenger fender well, so with flares it's 100% open to the elements to suck in all sorts of crap

    The air intake is located right behind the left side headlight. So as long as it's not higher than that I should be golden. What I'm more concerned with is keeping up with you high HP mofos! I'm picturing the tortoise and the hare fable. When you guys stop to gas up and I pull up still with half a tank. :thumbsup:

    Edit: Is there going to be any pew-pew?

    I was thinking more the interior filling up with water than the intake. :p Don't worry about the speed. Me and Warren have to stop every 8-12 minutes to smoke a cigarette.

    Mojave is pretty easy. Don't really need sliders and skids. Lift and big tires aren't necessary neither. Stock trucks can make this trip, just no spacer lifts and 2wd's.

    We are going to be in the National Preserve which I think has the same rules as National Parks, so probably no shooting, but you are welcome to check the laws if you are interested.

    I'm not worried about that. It's a 31yo truck. The carpets had various fluids(beer,booze,bongwater,dogvomit)spilled/leaked over the years. I was getting ready to replace it soon but I'll wait till after this trip.
