Are you adding an amp? i think doing a quality door speaker and an amp upgrade will do a lot. Heck speakers alone will do a lot. I’m actually questioned the purchase I just made for awhile but sure it’s worth the money. Now I got to get the subs cranking. I’d much rather have the bass then anything else. The main missing component to this trucks audio.

what size lift are you running? Looks like 8”

Replacing the dash speakers and putting 6x9's in the front will do a lot to improve the sound quality. Let me know if you can fit 6x9's in the rear doors. The door panel itself is only cut out for 6.5" but I am sure a Dremel and creativity could get 6x9's to work. I used shallow mount in the front doors to make sure the window wasn't contacted when rolled down. Additionally, I added a self powered pancake style kenwood sub under the rear seat that adds some low end. After awhile I added the taco tunes 4 channel amp and it improved thing a hundred times over. Still have the stock head unit as I didn't want to mess with an aftermarket microphone for Bluetooth and liked the clean look of the stock unit.

Yes im running a JL amp. And im on the same boat as you, im usually the guy that just adds a sub to stock highs and just deals with crappy oem speakers, but i love my tundra so im doing it proper. Components front and back, JL amp for the mids/highs, 2 12's ported with 1500wrms Skar amp. should be completing the install within the week (hopefully this weekend).

and i have a Pro Comp 7" but you're like the 4th person that said it looks like an 8". im not complaining though
